NBPCLCD for HP 15G 15-G 15R 764877-001 B156XTT01.2 Laptop Touch Screen Assembly Replacement

Just installed this product today to replace a cracked but functioning model B156XTT01.2 touch screen LED assembly. The monitor display works, but the touch screen does not and there is also a small crack on the lower right corner. Did just about all diagnostic test I could find from HP, Microsoft, and others with no luck.The laptop simply doesn't recognize this product as a touch screen but it did recognize the original unit correctly as a touch screen.

Plugged it into the laptop right out of the box and received nothing but a black screen. The screen back light would flicker when the laptop was powered on or off but never displayed any image. I plugged back in the old (Cracked) screen and it fired right up so the BRAND NEW screen was in fact defective. Very irritating when you are trying to get your kids computer fixed before school starts and have to wait for another screen to come in.

I replaced a broken screen with this product. It installed nicely and worked great for about a month then died. I know computer parts have a limited life expectancy but this is a little short.

Product as described. Works well with my laptop. Good as new.
