I was first introduced to Black Soap in Marrakech. This is like that but thinner, lighter. I find it especially effective for getting paint off. Yeah, I'm kinda a messy painter and this soap with a scrubby lifts it right off without hurting my skin. Scent it light to the point of almost unnoticeable. It s a decent value. Esp good if your skin gets dry and flacky.

Update : I used the soap and liked it . It smells nice and leaves the skin soft . The soap was liquid. Haven't used it yet but it's not as advertised which is kind of disappointing.

Cleansed the skin, but not the consistency of authentic Moroccan black soap. Was not effective at removing dead skin as intended. (Applied when skin was hot/in steam, waited 7 minutes, rinsed and used kessa.) Disappointed and will not be purchasing again.

Authentic Moroccan soap? I don’t think so, but it does leave your skin feeling soft and has a very pleasant scent on the skin. A little goes a long way also. The glove that comes with it has been like any other glove I’ve tried so nothing too special about it. Definitely my go to when I’m doing my “everything shower”. I gave 4 stars only because I don’t think it’s actually Moroccan soap as advertised.
