With 30 megapixel this is definitely the best trail camera i ever invested. The camera has fast trigger, it wakes up fast when motion detected. The motion detected range is wider than i expected. I have it installed and mounted on a tree that faces our backyard through the door. It was able to detected and trigger the recording when animals appears at the yard.

I purchased this to compare to my Browning 32MP 4K, and StealthCam DS4K 30MP trail cameras- I have Moultries' best and Boly's 25MP cams, and Boly's 30MP cams- 19 in all- and this, this camera is the worst quality in both photo and video of all trail cams I own- I returned the camera after the super cheap latch broke on retrieving cam first time from being out in the field - when I viewed the data, I was astonished at how crappy- I mean ultra crappy the video quality was - no way, is this a native 14MP, or 16MP CMOS size native resolution sensor like real trail cams of late are boasting- I bet it is the cheap 5MP CMOS /sensor using blown up photoshop /interpolation/technology - the video at Full Definition I bet is at 15 frames - maybe 24 frames- which is awful cheap and out dated- the Bestguarder is a wannabe pretend fantasy- audio/sound was horrible- but worse, is the brightness of the red glow lights- this camera will let every thief know where it is- yikes. I wanted this to be real as advertised- and would have gotten more if these were truthfully advertised- but either the company sent me a fluke, or as I suspect, others giving testimony here saying this is a great camera, have no clue what real quality is.....at least returning the camera went smooth- real smooth- that's the only 5 star it deserves. Wish it wasn't so- and this super cool looking cam was actually high end- when in reality, it is on the low of low ends. Bestguarder is welcome to send me another and see if it was a fluke- and I simply got a bad cam that was not meant to be sold- but I doubt it.

I have had this camera for 2 weeks. Week one it went through 32 batteries. I tried to minimize the settings as much as possible but still attempt to capture dusk to dawn activity. I didn't even attempt to use the video settings. Week 2 I ordered a 12V power adapter, hoping to by pass the battery issue. Now the unit will not even turn on. Additionally, it is not very intuitive and user friendly. It has a steep learning curve and it is hard to tell if it is on or off when it is turned on. I probably should have used a ring camera instead for my purpose. It cost the same and I can get real time video on my phone or computer. I wouldn't waste your money on this unit.
