A great box set, came as advertised at great value and no wear and tear in sight or disc missing .

Perfect time to rewatch this series with a HIGHLANDER reboot coming (with Henry Cavil). This series was a great alternate timeline to the original film, even has Lambert reprise his role to pass the Katana ( if you will) to Adrian Paul, who by Lambert’s own admission, was better than him at the swordplay. If you don’t know the original film, it’s a must watch. Suffice to say the premise is the same with weekly villains and drama. There’s a race of Immortal’s who live among us and battle each other for the Prize. The original films Queen soundtrack ( which was a one song commission that evolved into an entire album because Freddy and the Band loved the movie) is honored week to week with Princes of the Universe theme, but also with many rock cameos throughout the series. This set has all 6 seasons and a short lived Amanda spinoff (Highlander: the Raven). NOTE: Not included here are the made for tv movies that merge the original film continuity with the series ( Highlander: the Source & Highlander: Endgame).

Excellent show and bonus features. Wonky packaging. Incredible bargain. I once paid more than this for each season.

Series is fantastic there were many episodes i didn't see during its run but I have since seen all thank you good investment

Okay Ive always loved this show when it debuted back in the early 90s, I admit I was onto this series like Ho’s on Santa. Prima it was a great window into the decade of how everyday life was like too a degree ( gotta remember the storyline) Secunda I loved how it always touched upon issues that weren’t as cut & dried as it seemed at first, I always liked how they made Duncan an everyman character that a lot of people could relate to, I liked Amanda’s character for being his friend,lover, at times foil talk about Cat & Mouse & we cannot forget about Dawson , Chronicler, frenemy, counseler plus blues man extraordinaire last but certainly not least we have the ever elusive Metho’s, admittedly my favorite too old for his own good, a man tortured by his past, that was in part driven by survival on pain of certain death otherwise & also driven by survival of the fittest,, plain and simple. He both respected Macleod , feared him and at times thought of him as an annoying pest, as he said “it was a different time Macleod”you cannot judge someone for how they lived and the actions they took if you weren’t even alive back then, I love how he called out Macleod’s ignorance and in the end gained an even closer friend.

At an excellent, reasonable price given the content on offer: every episode of both HIGHLANDER: THE SERIES & also its spinoff sister series HIGHLANDER - THE RAVEN, this brilliant product comes highly recommended as easily the best item of Highlander merchandise on the market. If like me you were a huge fan of Russell Mulcahy's classic 1986 fantasy/adventure starring Christophe Lambert, Sean Connery & Clancy Brown, you have probably been disappointed or underwhelmed by the sequels that lack a certain (pun intended) Kind of Magic. Highlander: The Series does not deserve to be categorized alongside the derivative & lacklustre sequels. It takes all the magic & mystery of the original movie, doesn't hold back in terms of imagination & excitement & its action scenes & visual effects are on point. It also has one of the most engaging performances given by a lead in a genre series in Adrian Paul's magnificent performance as Duncan McLeoad who is supported brilliantly by the cast of Alexandra Vandernoot (surely one of the most sexy yet underrated actresses of all time & the best Bond Girl we never got) as Tessa & the late, great salt of the earth Stan Kirsch as Ritchie Ryan, the true definition of a sidekick with a heart of gold. Highlander- The Series was a couple of decades ahead of it's time. In an age when such sci-fantasy genre tv as Dr Who, Stranger Things & Game of Thrones have become MUST see with interesting & engaging storylines & irresistible characters, Highlander feels at home. In the 1990s the series was perhaps too harder edged & bold for family audiences & perhaps just a bit too ambitious for TV at that time. But looking back on it now it is clear it is an uncut gem ripe for rediscovery. Highlander as a genre is a franchise just waiting for new life & oxygen & if the much trumpeted remake of the 1986 movie, expected to feature Henry Cavill as a McLeod gets off the ground & franchise finds the truly enormous audience & appreciation it deserves, rediscovery of various past interpretations of the franchise will be the order of the day & this fantastic entity featuring a great central character in Duncan McLeod, great supporting cast Guest Stars, some of the best action, fantasy, romance & fun found on tv & THAT killer soundtrack by Queen will be just. A terrific boxset, brilliantly collected with nothing left out at a reasonable price it comes highly recommended.

Brilliant. Very impressed with this. Many hours of enjoyment watching the show. But also need to say....best packaging ever. I wish all DVD series came this way. Individual pockets for each DVD. This should be the industry standard not trying to jam as many DVDs into a plastic cover as possible. Well done.

Would of liked to see it on blu-ray

Loved this series when it was on television. Happy I could buy it for my collection
