Could be quality-- I'm pleased.
Owned raincoats especially since young adulthood life through many years so to speak. Love a raincoat. Since I have purchased raincoats for so many years, I will give this coat an 8-9. Haven't worn it yet but tried it on. Feels durable-not sure I am an expert. I kind of wish I had ordered a softer color; however, this is a durable raincoat. Not casual. I like any color as long as it works for my purpose

Well made & new technology in how they made it.
As we are temporarily relocated in the Western United States—we were looking for a light weight jacket. This jacket surprised me—in a good way. It’s well made. And, doesn’t make you perspire like many jacket La. Its breathability has amazed me.If you are going to use this jacket in layering—keep in mind it’s form fitting. Therefore if I was to make this my outer jacket over many layers I would by a size larger or more. Again—just depending on what layer it is going to be.

Sized narrow thru the hips, otherwise a nice rain jacket.
I replaced my previous order for a large with the xl. Still quite tight thru the hips. Does not seem to be styled for a woman. The arms are longer, but can be managed with the velcro at the wrists. I will make do with the snug fit, but a little disappointed. I am sure that a XXL would be too big in the shoulders and too long in the arms. I am still happy with the material, zippered vents under the arms and the look of the jacket. Should be good for my hiking trip.

Comfortable and Colorful
Great color and quality. I’m 5’6”, 128 lbs and the medium size I ordered was too big in the chest and shoulders, so I ordered a small, which still had extra space for adding layers during colder weather. I’m looking forward to wearing it during rainy golf tournaments and football games. The company should consider making a longer jacket, one that goes to the knees. I would buy that too.

Well made but only for climbers?
This jacket appears to be well made and the material has a nice finish and seems like it would be durable. The deep teal blue color is exactly as pictured. The pockets are decent sized and the zippers work smoothly. The sleeves come down to my first knuckles but the velcro allows you to adjust them to your liking and the sleeve length then allows full range of motion. I wanted to love this jacket but I was looking for a lighter waterproof jacket for rainy summer days and this one seems like it would be very hot in warm humid conditions. The material is also a little stiff, not light and flexible. I am a size 4-6, a little curvy in the hips and it is snug on the hips when zipped. I might have been able to talk myself into keeping it for the fall if not for one thing- the hood is enormous. When I pulled it up it extended about 6 inches above the top of my head. There would be no way to cinch that enough to wear it comfortably. It seems designed to accommodate a helmet and is the reason for 3 stars.

Flattering fit
The Medium fits like a Medium should fit. I bought the red jacket with the black zippered pocket on the chest and 2 pockets at the side seam. The pockets are perfect size, just wish there were interior pockets as well. It's a really beautiful deep shade of red, not bright or flashy fire engine red. The fabric is quite stiff and noisy. You won't sneak up on anyone wearing this jacket. Unfortunately the manufacturer says to hand wash only so I don't think it's going to soften much with washing, but maybe with use. This is not your typical boxy rain jacket. It has a nice gentle curve at the side seam so if you want to wear layers underneath you'll definitely want to size up. The zippers are a little tough to slide, I just hope they hold up over time. There are extensive 2-way zippers under the arm pits for cooling. Be aware that the zipper pulls have cords hanging from them for easy access. It was somewhat bothersome to have the cords hang directly under my arm pit but they aren't as noticeable if pulled to one side of the zipper or the other. You could remove the cords if it suits you better but it may be harder to find the zipper pull. I wish the hood was removable. Would love to know if anyone has a way of rolling up the hood and tucking it out of the way when not in use. It doesn't lay flat against my back and feels cumbersome because it's stiff and sticks out. While the jacket doesn't weigh much, I thought it would be more lightweight than it actually is. Living in SoCal, I need a waterproof windbreaker rather than a rain jacket. Regardless, it's a nice jacket so I'll keep it for trips to cooler climates.
