Initially I thought it had a waxy smell, but once I warmed it up I didn't get that waxy scent anymore. My husband actually commented that it smelled really good. It also wasn't too hot to the touch which I was concerned about. I used a small amount at a time and worked it into the skin, it seemed to soak in without leaving a lot of residue. I only used maybe a quarter of the container for one use which isnt bad either. When I run out of this one I would definitely try other scents.

Great massage candle. Love the scent as well. Oil heats up evenly and glides on the skin really well. Love it.

Great smell…not really into wax on my skin….

So, I bought this for my hubby and was not sure what to expect. We decided to try it this weekend. I was a little nervous that it might be too hot because it is massage wax from a burning candle. We lit it and let it burn for 20 minutes. I then blew out the candle and waited a minute before pouring it into my hands, It was warm but did not burn or anything. I rub my hands together and then did a back massage. It was not sticky and rubbed in smoothly. made for a perfect massage and my hands glided over his back easily.

Very difficult to wash away, gets hard very fast.
