A Great Solution for Those Whose Regular Mouthpiece Causes Pain
According to my son who is a dentist, I have a torus palatinus (and he inherited it from me). This means that a regular mouth piece irritates my gums because of a protrusion in the roof of my mouth, and after a few dives can be very painful to my gums.If you find that when your dentist takes X-rays that holding the sensor in your mouth is painful, you may also find a regular mouthpiece on your regulator becomes painful as you do repeated dives.This mouth piece the ideal solution to my problem. At first, it seemed I was swallowing too much sea water, but after a few dives I was able to relax and not bite on it as much.

The mouthpiece met all expectations. I usually have jaw fatigue after my first couple dives, if I haven't been in the water in a while. I just dove two weekends after not diving for about a month. No fatigue.Just be sure and look at the list to find the model that is correct for your regulator. I ordered this clear one incorrectly the first time.

Works just like a mouth-guard that is able to be molded. It reduced my jaw fatigue and is well worth the cost.

Couldn't be happier
I've been using one of these for over ten years. When I upgraded to a new regulator, had to get a new mouthpiece because the mounts aren't universal. Shipping was prompt and it fits perfectly. I'm looking forward to another ten years on this one.
