I needed a yoga mat that was wider and longer, where I didn't feel like I was slipping off it every time I did asanas. I am 5'11" with wide shoulders, and this is the perfect size for me. I just did a modified sun salutation and not once slipped off the mat.The material is a nice, solid cream color and is made with quality. It has a slight new odor to it but it didn't smell toxic as I breathed into my stretch. It has a good grip and just enough cushion to feel comfortable when working out.All in all a very nice purchase. I feel like i'll be using this mat for a while.

I bought this for my son, who is about 6 feet tall. He wanted a mat that he could comfortably fit on, while he is doing his stretches and yoga exercises. This one fits the bill perfectly! It's nice and thick, and extra long in length! I might have to order one for myself, too...because this one is much higher quality than the one that I've had for years!

My fiance recently started doing yoga with me and needed his own mat. He's 6'3 so we wanted to find a larger mat for him. This mat does the job. About 4inches wider and longer in both directions than my mat. It fits him well and he is happy with the size. It is pretty thin so not much support. He also finds it to be a bit slippery when in down dog, etc compared with my mat. Overall, it will work for us for now. I've promised him if he keeps up with the practice we can upgrade his mat eventually ;)

I purchased my first mat somewhere else. My first time using it I laid down and while taking deep breaths all I could think about was all the chemicals I was breathing. That same day I search online for a low voc mat. I bought a second mat this time from Mantra. The next time I practiced yoga I was very pleased to find no chemical smell. My new Mantra mat was bigger and less expensive then my first mat. I am very happy with my purchase. I will set aside my first mat for the next two years before I feel comfortable using it. When breathing is such a big part of yoga why do so many companies fill their mats with chemicals. Thank you Mantra for being different and thank you for not charging me $100 just to feel comfortable to breathe. I will recommende you to everyone looking for a yoga mat.

I love this mat. As a tall, plus size woman I need the extra space and it just looks and feels nice. It gets a tiny bit slippery on days I'm sweating too hard, but that will be solved by a good yoga towel. It's somewhat thick, so slightly harder for balance than my old mat, but also better for my knees, so it's a worthwhile trade off.

I purchased this oversize yoga mat to cut as a liner for the bottom of my guitar cabinet and I was happy with the cost, dimensions, and color. Of course, YMMV

I love this mat! As a tall person, it is so helpful to have extra space. It doesn't have that chemical smell that a lot of other mats do at first. I definitely recommend this!

I wanted this mat because I am tall, and I didn't want a mat with toxins. For those reasons, it is good. HOWEVER, it is very thin. I have it on a wooden floor, and it can still be a bit uncomfortable (less comfortable than another yoga mat I have).
