hours spent trying to get working. no dice.
I bought this board knowing that the intel x79 chipset has VT-d. Needing VT-d for passthrough of devices to my virtual machines. Well, so far I cannot get VT-d to actually function. Its enabled in bios, yet it will not let me in the hypervisor. The sole reason I bought this board was VT-d enabled board. If I cannot get this to function I will be returning.
