Hot Wheels Toy Car Track Set, 4-Lane Elimination Race with Fair-Start Launcher & 1 Toy Car in 1:64 Scale

Got this for my nephew. Comes with two cars but easily accommodates two more. What's great about this particular racetrack is it's meant to have cars crash into things on it, this is great for running little competitions with other hot wheels your kid may have. It's very simply built and it uses gravity to do all the pushing so there's no annoying switches or springs etc needed to launch the cars.Most importantly - you don't have to "reassemble" it every time you want to play with it. *It folds into itself* when you're and and you can fold it back out easily with everything already preassembled to play. It's actually one of the better starter tracks as it's fairly affordable and fun to play with.

What a fantastic toy at a great value! We got this ramp for our toddler and it’s been a huge hit! As a 90s kid I wasn’t sure how I felt about the 4track elimination, but it’s really a blast to race the cars with. A fun activity has been to film the cars racing with my iPhone in slow motion and you get some epic Hollywood style wipe outs! The kids love it. We also create brackets to see what car is the best in the bucket and my brother and law and I do small bets racing the cars. The main takeaway is this is a great product for parents to enjoy as well as the kiddos! I hope they develop more like this.

My son loves this. I liked that there was little assembly required. He has a ton of hot wheel tracks he likes, but sometimes it’s nice to have a race track without having to build it. He loves the idea of a race and a winner.However. The mechanisms don’t always work, so sometimes multiple cars finish the race (my son doesn’t seem to care about this, so maybe it’s fine?). Within a week, a hinge broke from light use, and the trigger to start the race is barely holding on. It was one of the cheaper kits, and now I know why. It was still a hit in our house, I’m just not betting on it lasting very long.

Took me back to my childhood days. My 4 year old grandson LOVED it! We raced for days. Easy set up perfect size.

This is a great set for multiple hot wheels cars to race on. I purchased this set as a birthday gift for my grandson to add to his hot wheels race track sets. This allows multiple cars to race together and he enjoys it.

This 4 lane race track is really nice for the money. First off, I didnt know it just folded out and was ready to go. I thought it would have separate sections to stick together like most hot wheel tracks. But this comes in a nice compact rectangle, then you simple just unfold it and it's ready to go in like 30 seconds. No pieces to hunt down or get lost. Everything stays connected. Superb design.My daughter is 27 Mo. and once its setup for her, she can basically run it herself. She needs some reminding to reset the yellow flaps, but for the most part, she can launch the cars and reset on her own. I think a 3yr old should have no problem running it solo.Im concerned a bit about the durability. These little yellow plastic claws on the side, keep the sections together. If one breaks, the whole thing either will collapse, or just be uneven and kill any actually racing. Time will tell, I guess.As for fun, my daughter loves it. She loves playing with hot wheels and now this track is her favorite. She takes all her blue cars (blue is her favorite, dad gets yellow, mom gets red) and races them over and over. Keeps her occupied for a good amount of time. 30 minutes or so per session.Great race track, great design. Nice compact folding design for storage. No parts to get lost. Excellent value for the money.

It's fun, but just not the greatest quality. Sometimes the little triggers that flip the other cars off stop working properly, and it flips both cars (rather than just the opposing car) off the track. Even if you use your finger, they both pop, which ruins all the races. Sometimes it goes back to working properly, sometimes it fails consistently, not sure why. Track is also not terribly sturdy as the stands flip back and forth either way easily, and the 3 segments also detach a little too easily. Just moving the track a tiny bit sometimes causes it to detach in one place or another. It's not bad, my son uses it occasionally, but it could definitely be made better.

This is such a fun and exciting racetrack for kids, and by the way adults will enjoy it as well. Not kidding. My nephew absolutely loves this racetrack toy! He is only 3, but he has so much fun watching the cars go down the track. The cars get eliminated one by one as the track narrows down into one single lane. 4 lanes altogether. I would say it takes the fours cars about 4 to 5 seconds to finish the race. It is fun to videotape the race with your IPhone and watch it in slow motion. Great product from Hot Wheels! Once again such fun!
