EXCELLENT PRODUCT

I’ve been using Simpler for several months now, and while I can’t compare it to other brands—I trusted the Reddit reviews and went straight for this one—it’s worked very well for my beard. My beard can appear less full due to lighter brown and gray hairs, but this dye blends everything nicely. A few things I’ve learned: • Post-dye care matters. Using an exfoliating wash afterward eliminates any burning or itching, which seems unavoidable with products like these (though Simpler is reportedly the least irritating). Beard shampoo and conditioner might also help. • Staining is manageable. You don’t necessarily need gloves or Vaseline, but keep a damp towel or tissue handy to wipe away stray dye. It inevitably spreads a little—especially if you’re using it on eyebrows, too. • Dye gets everywhere. Even if you’re careful, you might find dye on bath towels or under your fingernails. A little bleach spot treatment on fabric or counters takes care of it. Finally, their customer service was excellent—they sent me a different shade free of charge when the one I ordered turned out darker than expected.

This product isn’t much different than JFM. The color is a little bit more natural but you have to leave it on for 20 minutes. Also, it is NOT permanent. Within 5-7 days the grey is back. It’s almost 60 dollars and yes, you can get multiple uses out of it. For me it seems a little less harsh than JFM. But what I really do not like is this: if you want to buy it again you have to buy the starter kit again. That means another black bag that comes in a fancy black box with all the useless accessories - stuff I already got, don’t use and don’t need more of. For example, a small packet of petroleum jelly, a couple of plastic applicators, a pair of small cheap plastic gloves, instruction booklet. All stuff I already have and do not need again. Especially for $60; it’s not worth buying all of that over and over. I’d consider buying it again if I could just buy the can of dye at a cheaper price without all the unnecessary extras. But you can’t. They need to rethink how they are marketing this. Back to JFM.

It couldn’t be simpler! Seriously I’ve tried different products to hide my grays and nothing is as effective or as easy as Simpler. If you do it right, you won’t make a mess at all and you won’t need the gloves. It’s as simple as combing in the color, waiting a little bit and rinsing it out. For me the color sticks around for about a month and a half and then it needs another dose. No one can tell, it looks super natural. Highly recommend. Ad if you are worried about it causing hairloss, I haven’t noticed that at all. Only downside, it’s not cheap, but for me, it’s absolutely worth the cost.

The whinny little “B” stuff on here cracks me up. Compared to every other product on the market this is superior. It doesn’t stain like JFM it last way longer (5-7 uses per bottle minimum vs. 1!!! Use for JFM) making it a WAY better deal. Like ANY DYE you have to leave it on longer for better effect and it generally works better. Never covers 100% but what does?! Do I wish I could order just the dye separately? Ya but whatever the market value is there. Lastly, in response to the “B”y little posts about not allowing returns etc. I gotta call out those whiners. I complained, I called in and expressed my upset at the dye and activator not coming out equally, their response? They told me “don’t bother sending it back keep it use it if u can. We’re always trying to make the disbursal method better and we’re getting there. In the meantime let us send you two free bottles as an apology” !!!! Which lasted me a total of 16 uses, about 2+ months. So they do care!!! Ugh. Being the best is rough I guess!! Great product and great service!! Thank you! This product is not properly dying my beard. I see no results after waiting for 10 minutes

I was looking forward to an easier application compared to Just for Men which is a little tedious to use the tubes and mix in a tray and does cause tiny bits of splatter if using for your bear. Simpler promised to fix these issues although they really exaggerated it in their videos. Its definitely simpler, however the one thing I dont hear them talk about is how long the process takes. 30 Minutes!! And even the I dont feel like the color is as dark or the coverage is as complete. Secondly, they make you pay $10 for a separate brush kit that includes the small tooth brush for mustaches and shorter beards. Lastly, the smell of Simpler is really really bad. It took about 15 of the 30 minutes until I could ignore it enough to not quit early. I know that's a lot of negative sounding statements but I wanted to be honest about my thoughts. That said, I think I'll be using both products, one when I was convenience but I have more time to spend and the other when I'm short on time.
