This is an amazing product! Whoever designed this is a genius! It’s essentially a wooden handle with a section of fine tooth bandsaw blade on one side. I just got it yesterday and have used it on all of my 3 boy cats. They do not like brushes but they love this. They flipped back and forth and turned to give me their tummies to clean.I was hesitant to order because of the price but since it’s time for the Big Spring Shed I gave in and I’m glad.Warning - it’s not a neat process. It removes the loose hair but it does not hold it on the teeth for you to collect it neatly. You will have it on you and anything nearby. I think it would work well outside on a breezy day so the fluff wads would blow away.Anyway the cats look better and are happy.

The EquiGroomer does a fantastic job, both at getting hair out and making the brushee pass out from feeling so good. Soot loves brush sessions and goes into kitty-coma almost every time.I wish I'd though to take a picture of the hair that came off this cat during the first month we had this brush, but I didn't. :-/ We had to have collected enough hair to make an entirely new cat… twice over. It was insane.She's not even done, and it's been over two months! As you can tell from the pictures, the brush is still pulling shed out like crazy, though this hair amount is at least almost manageable.I actually only came back to this listing today to buy another, which reminded me that I should leave a review. Hope it helps!To add some humor, the first thing I thought when this brush arrived was that "uhh this is a hacksaw blade". When my husband got home and saw it, he recognized the blade style as one that he literally uses in his saws. Now he jokes that it's a torture device and that I'm cutting Soot in half. :p[update 2025-04-22we're still loving the brush, it's still pulling gobs of shed out, soot's still going comatose, and i uploaded another picture.]

Saw this on Girl with the Dogs on YouTube. I got it for my cat. Excellent deshedder! She tolerates it well and it really works well! It's easy to grip and well made.

It’s very effective. I’m not sure how I can be brushing every day and still be getting piles of fur. Thought it would calm down a bit. The cat sits still for it, but grumbles about her back end. Loves it on her head and neck and under chin. Main body also fine, but she’s less fond of it, compared to her head and neck bliss. As she’s not cleaning her back end well, there are a few small mats near the top of her legs. This doesn’t work well on those. The bunny also enjoys this brush. Better than the Kong brush. He’s never appreciated that too much, unless he’s trying to nibble the spikes.

I'M NOT A ROBOT- THIS THING ROCKS!!! I have a siamese cat with a never-ending undercoat so I had the cheap undercoat rake but let me tell you, this thing is MUCH better and more efficient. I think I am removing her ancestor's undercoat, but still have not gotten it all. With this simple brush I think i'll get there eventually! She doesn't love it but whatever, I do.

It is amazing what such a simple tool can do! My cat loves it! She flops on her back (which she rarely does) and waits to be brushed. Her fur seems softer and shinier afterwards. The wooden grip is easy to hold and cleaning is not a problem.

Amazing product! Fantastic quality for it's perfect size. Very durable and cute look. Easy to use and clean. Great for all hair types. Gets so much shedding and leaves hair soft.

Best cat brush I’ve ever had. It changes the way you brush your cat. Because of it’s design you aren’t combing them, its more like brushing them. And it’s one blade so the hair can be taken away so fast that your cat can stay in the moment. The brushing process is so light and smooth. It’s just a block of wood and a hacksaw blade. Genius.
