Okay Ladies, I'm here for a full helpful review. These are lovely, they're affordable and typical cotton material that you find on these types of socks. I have thicker thighs so I am always nervous to make these purchases. I ended up buying these because the only other picture review is of a girl who looks like she has similar leg size as myself so I went for it. I am 5'3'' and currently 125lbs. My legs are about 19 1/2 inches over the knee where these socks are supposed to be, about about 22 a little further up. If you are anywhere bigger than these numbers, I would not purchase these socks. I love that these fit and don't make my legs look like squished sausages, that is extremely rare for me and makes adorable styles like this virtually unobtainable for me. But they are not as stretchy as I hoped they might be so they're a little snug and not extremely soft or anything. As of now I've been wearing them around my house for about an hour and as where they are not uncomfortable, they're not really comfortable either. Maybe they will have a better feel after a wash and wearing them a couple times. Not sure. Any way hope this helped anyone out there in the same boat, If you're sizes are anywhere close to mine or under, I say it's a pretty safe purchase and you will be happy. Good luck!

No, they probably don't fit over anyone's thigh.I don't care.I am plus-petite with 19" calf circumference, and they fit fine up to the knee; tight enough to stay up, but not too tight. Then I bend over the top 5" and it works great.Color red is darkish burgundy; not too intense.The fabric is excellent quality, and feels so good against my sensitive skin!I wish they had more colors, especially a neutralized green, like olive or sage---hard to find.

I was expecting costume quality material, but theses are real socks! I love how thick they are, but they don't take up a ton of room in my shoes. They stay up, are pretty stretchy and hit at the exact height I needed them to! I have fairly thick legs and thighs and these worked perfectly for me!

 these boys did what they were supposed to do they stayed up all stay, withstood and drag dance competition, and never moved an inch i would recommend these to literally anybody who needs thigh highs 💕💕

I usually have trouble finding stockings or even thigh highs. I have thick thighs and I can never find anything that really fits. I usually have to refrain from pulling them up too high, otherwise it looks like I'm cutting off circulation in my legs lol. But these socks are PERFECT. They fit great, they are comfortable, and high quality.

I'm a larger girl, meaning I have larger thighs and larger calfs. Most of the knee high socks I try only go up to my mid calf, but not these. Although they were meant to be thigh high, they made it all the way up to my knee. More than I expected! My only concern is that the fabric is semi thin. I'm concerned that the fabric on my foot will tear easily.

I really needed something to keep my legs warm but not go over my stomach during pregnancy. These thigh highs look like thick stockings so you can wear them with dresses and skirts and also stay up most of the day. One drawback is it says handwash only... Which is never happening. I will wash in a garment bag.

These are really nice, they are actually a a light sock material, not just nylon. They we're just a hair tight but my thighs are sorta squishy so that's normal for me but not bad, socks still look great though! Besides if they had been much looser they wouldn't stay up as well anyway. These were the best I could find on here.
