Bought these because, like socks, my other ones had slowly disappeared. There were a good value but don't perform as well as what I had bought in a beauty supply. I do like the grooved grip on the handle which my other ones did not have but due to the 'grip bumps' on the bottom side of these, they don't slide into hair as easily. None have broken so that's a plus!

During a recent drastic hair style change session at the salon, I noticed my stylist using these clips and noted how well they held my hair compared to the traditional large tooth hair clips. After some research I found these and decided to get a set for myself and they're PERFECT. They hold my fine short hair back well, they don't slip or loosen over time, the y don't leave dents in my hair, they don't catch and pull out my hair in the joints, they're not unwieldy and are easy to use. 10/10 would recommend.

If you have thick hair these are for you. My hair doesn't typically get tangled up in them. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they are a little hard to open especially if you have conditioner on your hand. The spring in the clip is really tight. Other than that I like them.

Saw my hairdresser use these and couldn’t find them in the beauty supply store but amazon has them at a good price. I have very thick ethnic hair and one clip holds everything in place. Gave a few to family members after they saw I had them. Will buy more in the future.

These are difficult to open and the plastic has rough edges that get stuck in my hair. I'm disappointed. On the upside, they are strong and can support quite a bit of hair...if you are able to slide them in without becoming tangled in your hair.

I love these clips. I have thick 4C natural hair, and these clips help hold my hair in sections while I work on it during wash day.
