Q: If I am listening to a book via Bluetooth and then shut the lid, will the audio continue or does it shut off?

Your audio will continue with the cover closed, audio has to be paused or stopped manually.

Q: Why won't this fit a Paperwhite Gen 10 2019 Kindle?

There is no Gen 10 2019. The Gen 10 came out in 2018. No updates to the Paperwhite have come out since 2018. This fits the Gen 10 2018 Paperwhite.

Q: Is there any branding on it? I cannot stand branding.

There is branding debossed on the front *inside* cover. It's very obscure, and the front and back outside covers have no branding.

Q: Is the sleep wake switch protected while case is closed?

The cover has a hard shell that the Paperwhite sits inside. The switch and charge opening are recessed inside the case opening and while you can access both with the cover closed, the area is protected by the hard frame of the case surrounding the opening. It doesn't wake up unless the cover is opened. I've used the slimshell case with my previous Paperwhite and never had an issue.
