They work great!

I bought a pack of 4 and one of the metal hook holding ends split in half while I had my rods loaded in the kayak headed to the beach. Two of the others fell off and where lost. I was towing the kayak on wheels behind a bike on a paved path, which I wouldn't think should be enough to break these. I have 1 left which seems to be working. I'll go back to using a rubber band or O-ring and a split ring.

Not the easiest to install, but definitely a good idea.

I got this and really haven’t used like I was going to . I didn’t really like it being on my crank bait poles as I keep them tighter . I do use them on my triple hook jigging set up to put each single hook on the pole and works good

They just do not stay on well, if you put to much pressure in any fashion, the rubber band easily pops off.

I use these on all my Lews rods cuz the hook keepers are always lower on the rod than the reel. This doesn’t help when I place in my rod holders on my float tube cuz I can’t have a lure attached to rod and place in holders. These make everything work perfectly cuz I can now have them placed above my reels and have any lure wanted on them and they go all the way down in the holders.

The product is very hard to install. I used the smallest O ring that would fit on the fishing rod. You get 3 in each pack, the largest was too big, the smallest would not go round so the middle size was used. While fishing the same night it was installed the hook keeper came loose. I do not know if the O ring broke or the keeper itself broke because it apparently blew out the boat. Product is a waste of money.
