This kit was so quick and easy to use. The powder is fine and it’s not bulky. I just did my nails so I can’t speak to their longevity but ease of use and outcome was great! Any issues were my user error, just give yourself the extra time to let the top coat dry - takes more than the recommended time! Value for your money is top notch! Review: Got this kit because I hate the nail salons, they make me uncomfortable because I don't live in girl world. I thought it was a colored acrylic kit, but I went with it anyway when I realized it wasn't. The instructions say not to do more than 3 layers of this, however there are colors that hardly show up after 3 layers. I couldn't find a method to prevent the lumps & uneven covering, however I've only done 1 set so far so it could be a practice thing. Disappointed in the size of the 1-4 bottles, replacements for those under the same brand are about $25 which was the cost of the kit anyhow so that is annoying, but technically would justify ordering other kits to stock up on colors. I did purchase a nail dryer for this too and enjoyed that I didn't even need it. Some use it anyway for faster drying but my ADHD makes me take forever anyway so I get to return that thankfully. I'm leaving 4 stars because the quality of this set is worth the price, the tray and other accessories are nice Bonuses that a lot of other brand kits didn't have. However after my first use, the powder itself is not very pigmented, the lighter colors are almost useless by themselves, theyd have to be mixed into other colors to appear unless you prefer that "see through" look. Personally, I do not. The brushes crunch up nearly every other nail regardless of whether you close them or keep them open in-between, which causes a lot of wasted product cause you're constantly having to switch out the brushes. The extra brushes were very nice though, as one of my brushes had a long thread hanging and kept getting basecoat all around my nail. The basecoat is liquid cement. Someone else said they didn't like the top coat, i have to agree there it's very dull and I have also been looking at other options that don't require nail dryers. The glitter in the colors is very sparkly, i will give them that. It's similar to the diamond gel polish so I really appreciate that. This is good for those eager to do their own nails, it's a good learning kit. I do hope to find a better method with the next few sets so I'm not having to extra dip and file for hours, and definitely get an electric file for these as they do harden extremely quick and extremely well and they're not painful around my cuticles like some sets from the salon have been.

Definitely a learning curve is needed. They looked cute for about a day or two and then chipped off.

This is the first time I've used dip. I only learned about it the day I ordered it, yes I live under a rock apparently. I have to say this was so super easy and the results are beautiful. I always use gel, but now I'll be switching. The only suggestion I would make is that the instructions say brush the powder after dipping, but you need to wait 30-60 secs before brushing the powder off. Once I figured tht part out it was a breeze. I'll definitive ordering more of this stuff!

I am very new to doing my own dip polish. This was only my second attempt and I have to say that overall, I am very happy with this kit. It has EVERYTHING you need, a LOT of dip powder and it is very easy to use. I feel like I got a lot of product for the amount of money that I spent. The dip powder is VERY fine and easy to use. I did have to do 3 dips of color to get complete coverage. That may be partially operator error as this is only my second time doing dip at home. I had to do minimal filing and smoothing with this product, which I LOVE. The only thing in this kit that I don’t love is the top coat. It did not give me a smooth, shiny finish. It looked smooth and shiny when I put it on but when it dried, it looked crappy. I went over it with a regular polish top coat and BAM, I got the smooth and shiny finish that I wanted. (The top coat dried very quickly) I am very happy with the finished look. I would suggest a couple of things: use one of the “dip sticks” like they have in a nail salon before choosing a color because the finished color looks NOTHING like the powder in the jar. For example I used a light blue and it turned out to be a bright brilliant blue. I like the color but was not what I was expecting, so I would test first. And I would use one coat of their top coat and then use a coat of regular polish top coat. Regardless, I feel like this kit was a bargain!!! I got 20 jars of dip color and it really seems to be a nice quality, plus the liquids and a few tools for $40. Just to get my dip polish changed in the salon is $45 plus tip. I think this is worth the money
