Curious George Makes Maple Syrup (CGTV 8x8): A Winter and Holiday Book for Kids

This book stayed true to the process of making maple syrup. I used it to teach the process to children ages 3-7. The book and the students both nailed the process.

Great book! My son loves the cartoon and now we can read it.

Purchased to go along with homeschool preschool lessons this maple sugar season in New England. Cute read, but not incredibly informational. Also couldn’t find any maple related lessons or workbooks that are mentioned in the back of the book. Would choose other reads over this one.

Got into maple syrup making this year and the kids enjoyed it as well. Got this book to read to them. Book seems to be made well and will hopefully last many maple syrup seasons. Had bright colors and looked HD just like the show. Had a lot of words though!

I loveeeee and adore this bookcase we tap trees and have 2 young kids under 2.5 years old and we plan to read this before every season! Came in great shape!

Book is super cute and a great read. Wasn’t overly excited it was bent, looked more like a used book instead of new

6 year old grandson loved it. His grandpa makes maple syrup so he was very interested in it.

My 3 year old daughter loves books that tell a story but also have an element of learning how to do something which she can relate to her own experiences.We brought her to the maple farm this spring and purchased this book after so she was very excited to recap how the syrup is made.Whenever we have pancakes she explains how you have to cook the sap and when we see maple leaves or maple trees she explains how the sap comes out.I love that she’s learning how things are made or work in a fun way.

Appealing pictures, book based on a DVD we have.

I does explain the process of maple syrup. But the pictures are not great at explaining the words (it talks about the TAP but never shows a closed up). The writing isnt well edited.
