Mac Sports 2-in-1 Beach Lounger Conversion
These wheels worked amazing on the Gulf Coast sand with a loaded down chair (cooler, beach bag, tent, extra chairs, etc). I had to make some modifications to make them work. The axle on the Mac Sports 2-in-1 Beach Lounger is a 10mm axle and the wheel hub axle bore is 22mm. And the axle is too long for these wheels. I could have bought a shorter axle but finding anything metric is a pain. I ordered skateboard bearings with 22mm OD x 10mm ID and placed two in each wheel with a spacer between the bearings. I had to also use spacers and washers to push the wheels out far enough so the chair arms did not rub on wheels or interfere with reclining the chair. I then had to use spacers and washers to meet the end of the axle. I used the locking nuts that came with the chair to secure everything in place. For the spacers I used some underground sprinkler pipe I found at HD. I cut it the widths I needed and placed washers on each side of the spacers. I purchased two larger washers to place on the outside of the wheel hubs. I have attached a picture of the axle with the added hardware and no wheels so all of the above makes some sense! The only change I will make is to cut enough off the spacer between the wheel bearings so I can add a washer between the bearing and spacer. Overall these are amazing and I am so glad I converted my wheels. The wheels are thick and feel like they are made well. As another reviewer stated -tighten the wheel hub screws- I had one fall out. Luckily it fell out in our roof cargo bag and not somewhere in the sand.

The wheels are great but the package didn’t come with instructions
I’m not very good at putting things together. You have to download the owner’s manual from the Malone website. This document doesn’t tell you that there are 2 black plastic shims inside each axel hole. I needed to take out one shim so the balloon wheels should fit my Malone cart that had all-terrain tires. The owner’s manual wasn’t very clear on what to do. It said for my model of Malone kayak cart to leave shims in the hole but it only works if you had one shim per wheel.

Works great but tighten screws
Used these to replace the pier wheels that came with my Fish n Mate fishing cart. They hold air well and work great on the soft sand. I was able to pull my fishing gear much easier! However, do yourself a favor and tighten the nuts/bolts that hold the two parts of the hard plastic wheel together. I didn't because I assumed they were tightened from the factory. I lost a couple nuts on the beach and nearly had a separation of the entire wheel. Otherwise, the wheel material is sturdy and much, much cheaper than buying the orange tires or money bags wheels that start with a "W."

Easily convert old cart
Very easy to convert an old Ascend cart to these wheels. So much better over sand with and 80# BKC kayak! Highly recommend

If you have a Fish n Cart Jr. or a 5/8" axle
Malone does not sell an axle for these wheels. They also wouldn't tell me where to find an adapter for a 5/8" axle. The wheel takes a 7/8" axle and 5/8" to 7/8" sleeve bearing are hard to find.I found something that works great to convert the Fish n Mate 5/8" axle. Take the inner tube out of a 4" pop-up sprinkler head. Cut off the end with the threads, slip it on your 5/8" axle and install the wheels. Works great and doesn't cost much-I had some old pop-up sprinklers lying around so it cost me nothing.

Good Quality
As described. Good Quality. Worked great as replacement wheels for a beach dolly for a sailboat.

Beach Tires
I bought these to convert my cooler into a beach cart for fishing. They work like a champ. Glide over the beach in thick sand or rocks.

Axle diameter
Had to return. I have a 3/4" axle. The opening in the wheel is slightly larger so the wheel wobble.Tried to hardware store to find an insert to reduce the wheel diameter. No luck. They should offerinserts with the product or the ability to buy an axle that fits the wheel.
