Turns out it's hard to find a phone stand that has magnets on the cradle and not just a magsafe connector. So for those looking for a sidetable or office stand for your android/etc phone that works just like a magnetic car mount, this is the right one. Even comes with a case insert and adhesive plate in case you don't have a metal back for your device. Cable grip for charging is smart - no more taping it to your desk or whatever.Only downside - not adjustable. Pictured angle is the only one. Otherwise, it's sturdy and functional.

I have become addicted to the magnet smart phone holders and have several on my boat and one in my car..I bought this to replace another stand Had purchased on Amazon because this product gives me the ability to have a charging cable attached while the phone is mounted on the stand.I have had two issues with this product.1. I had to reinstall a new steel plate on my phone to lower down on the back of the phone. This was so the phone was mounted high enough that the charging cable could be plugged in without putting pressure on the jack on the phone. This is no big deal but it took me a few days to get used to the new position of the steel plate when using my other mounts.2, The high quality shielded charging cord I use has a hard time making the bend to reach the phone. This might not be a problem for a lot of users but I like to use a high quality cord with my rapid charger.3. The most annoying this about this stand is that the rubber feet move on the bottom of the stand. and when they end up dragged to a new position on the bottom they leave gooey adhesive exposed and those gooey spots pick up dirt. I suppose it would not happen if I picked the stand up off my desk every time I wanted to move it but I think better feet would let me shove it around my desk as I like. Sometimes it ends up being pushed by papers, folders. and other things on my desk. I plan to shop around for better rubber feet.

Bought this to use on my desk at work. It works perfectly. The magnets are strong and the rubber cord organizer I really handy. I also really like the machined openings in the back. They pop nice against the black paint. The only downside for me is that it sits just a bit low to rest the phone vertically while plugged in. This is more an issue with where I have my metal plate installed for my car mount and the type of charging cord I use. A more flexible cord would have allowed this to work out for vertical positioning. Generally, I have the phone sitting horizontal, so it isn't much of an issue. This is not a design flaw, though, as I specifically wanted something that would sit lower so that my monitor wasn't blocked. Another 1/2" taller would have been absolutely perfect. I am still a fan of this mount and don't regret the purchase.

I might buy it again but would probably try something else for a stronger magnet.Nice simple design.I never run the cable through the opening or use the cable management.Better if the magnet was a bit stronger - does not hold my Pixel 2XL very well in portrait.

The stand is great, does what it should and does it well. Very sturdy, magnet holds my iPhone 7plus and case with no problem. The only issue I have is that you must have the metal piece fairly low on your phone, otherwise there is no room between the phone and the table for the charger to be plugged in. Other than that, it’s a great product.

The magnet applied to the stand fine. I applied the other magnet to my phone under the case, However the magnet wasn't strong enough. I used the stand without magnets and just stood it up Still worked but not the way I wanted

Had high expectations. Will work with a very small phone! If the stand was 1" taller it would be great. Suggest the manufacturer sell two versions. One for smaller phones and one for larger phones. As a matter of fact a third version for small tablets would be great. I don't see how one would use this on a small tablet. Deserves about a 3 star rating for small phones, a 2 star ratings for 6" phones and a 1 star for tablets. Too short for phone and charging cord and too narrow for tablets.

It is is sturdy but a bit too slanted for my liking.
