Poor battery life
I got this laptop for its portability. I needed something that I can carry around with me and last a day of use. However, the battery life is an utter disappointment! This laptop is built decently well. I really like the keyboard, it is better than the one on XPS 13s. The track pad is really good too. The display is not as bright as it can be, but the matte panel makes it less prone to reflection.Three things about this laptop really turns me off:1) battery life is short. The battery is really inconsistent and I am getting at most 4 hours of battery life with mixed use. I cannot last a full day with this laptop.2) the processor is slow. I get that this is a budget laptop, but Windows update took me a full day on the blue update screen!3) charger is cheap and does not fit the aesthetics of the laptop.

Awesome
Exactly what my wife needed for school. So far so good!

Lightweight, works well, supports LInuxMint 19 (64 bit Cinnamon) nicely
I bought this for commuting and portable ham use as well as Linux use. It took a bit of searching to find the right way to get a suitable image of LinuxMint 19 (Tara) onto a thumb drive, but once I did, it was smooth sailing. Performance is very good, as is battery usage. Only challenge is in finding a suitable second 120v USA power supply.
