I used the 2-step process, and no complaint about the quality of the packaging, or the results.But be aware that Mehndi/Indigo is not fully skin safe.I have never had any reaction to the chemical colors that I have used for many years on monthly basis. But I had a reaction to Mehndi/Indigo - on the 5th application ! I did all the right things - sufficient gap after my last chemical dye, patch test, minimal application initially - and did a full application only when everything was going fine. Both color and texture were good in the first few times.I really liked the color result (I have fully white hair), but sadly I have turned out to be allergic to Mehndi/Indigo.This was a purchase to confirm if I am indeed allergic to Indigo, or if something was wrong with my earlier purchased product. I got the same reaction from this too - itchy scalp, swollen forehead down to my eye area, and a mild reaction after every shampoo afterwards (maybe because the indigo was again coming into contact with the skin).My advice - consider it like any other chemical dye. Don't ignore any itching/swelling if you use Indigo/Mehndi. I have read about some very serious adverse reactions in some users. The process is tedious and time consuming, and the results are not as long lasting as chemical color. You may also need to start using an old towel over your pillow. But the color is definitely more natural looking.Also give around 2 month gap between any chemical dye before or after using Mehndi/Indigo because I read that these may react with each other and damage the color or the hair strands.

I have seen a lot of people ranting about not getting the desired black colour. After trying the consistency for a couple of tries I have come up with perfect instructions1. As mentioned 3 parts indigo and 2 parts henna works fine but the timing as mentioned in the instruction manual is wrong. You have to let the mixture stay for atleast 3-4 hours to get the desired black colour. As much as hate the waiting period, the fact that the colour is natural is a comforting factor2. The mixture consistency should be a thick paste to get the roots coloured properly. When the consistency is thin then the roots doesn’t get coloured properly and the end result is that you have see some left over grey hairs3. Colour needs to be applied every 15 days to cover the newly grown grey hairsCons ( and solutions)1. The black colour starts fading to brown after a couple of washes. But the plus point is I dye my hair every 15 days so it really doesn’t bother me2. Due to presence of henna, the hair texture is very dry. I have tried to use various natural shampoo but the result is very dry hair. So I changed to my L’Oréal colour protection shampoo (light pink bottle). And also use conditioner (kumuda hair conditioner which is 100% natural). This way my hair texture is not dry at all. The end result is smooth and silky hair

It's really worst product. My grey still remains,only I have suffered with cold and fever. I never got like this product in Amazon before. Nowadays Amazon platform selling very cheap quality product rather than other websites
