Haven’t tried painting with them yet, but I have played with them, felt them, etc. The brushes seem like they’d do just fine for watercolor, love the different brushes (hard to find grainer brushes!), soft bristles and none came bent or anything. Took one star off b/c one brush came off the handle as soon as I pulled it (even gently) out of the little elastic strap, so I’ll have to glue it back on. Not sure if any of the others will then do the same? We’ll see.

Great brushes. Used for face paint and rock painting. Very good for water based paints.

I almost did not buy this set of brushes. At the price, I thought they could not be very good. They sat around the house for a couple of weeks before I tried one. THEY WERE SUPERB. I have been paying a lot more for brushes that look really great in the store but aren't any good whey I use them. After a couple of p;paintings with the new brushes, I bought two more sets.sets just to have as standby. Now that I have this back up supply, I will suggest that you raise the price so people won't think they are cheapie "student" brushes.

I now use this set every time I paint, whether it be acrylic or watercolor. The variety of brushes included covers just about everything I could potentially need and the quality has held up wonderfully, no stray hairs left behind like so many other brush brands at even higher prices. Cleaning them is so quick and easy but most importantly, brush shape is retained once dry. I also appreciate the texture of the paint coating on the brush handles, not sure what it is but it has something that helps with grip.
