Mine (beige color) came with small imperfections, raised dark colored bumps. Is this normal or did I get a bad batch?

These are artisan ceramic they are not smooth there is a design running around the rims and a bare foot and a reactive glaze finish so the color varies with how the stoneware reacts to the glazing.
