Unfortunately I wasn’t able to breathe at all through the metal screens.

Works well, a bit of an odd fit/feel, but worth the price

I wear when mowing the lawn or doing a woodwork projects. Easy to slip on and I barely know it's there. Definitely more comfortable than wearing a mask. Worth the cost.

It works as expected, but doesn't sit well in the nose, you feel it all the time.

It's great that the company offers a fit kit. If they don't fit right you can't use them, which seems obvious but so many companies just want you to guess. Anyway, these filters are actually nare-shaped (nostril shaped, dunno) rather than just circles, so there's a good chance you'll get a good fit, and a good chance you won't since they aren't very elastic and they depend on your nose being flexible enough to make up for imperfect fit.So, these itty bitty filters do provide some protection, but not as much as wearing an N95 - they can't because they are so small in surface area you wouldn't be able to breathe through them if they did. But they are literally better than no mask.
