Ok for light lifting, but not so much for heavy.
I was looking for a pair of gloves to replace my old pair that was literally falling apart. It was important to me to get leather gloves as I feel that after repeated uses, they will form creases in the pattern of your natural grip, something I doubted synthetic materials would do. After an exhaustive search and reading many reviews, I settled on this pair. First, they are comfortable to wear...but when it comes to lifting heavy weights, for me, I feel they are lacking. The leather is very soft, which feels fine to the touch, but doesn't offer much protection from hard surfaces such as bars. The padding, while it feels plush, is really...well, light, airy, and easily compressed, for lack of a better description. For me, what this meant was when lifting heavy weights, I was feeling the pressure of the bar down to the bones in my fingers. The limiting factor in my lifts has become the pain and discomfort in my fingers and palm rather than muscle fatigue. With heavy weights, it sometimes feels like you're not wearing a glove at all. These gloves will protect the surface of your skin, but not much else. It doesn't protect against getting calluses either, but I've got them with every glove I have used in the past, so I won't hold that against these. The gloves were relatively cheap, so I didn't expect amazing craftsmanship, but based on the reviews, I expected a little better. Most of the flaws I'm listing are cosmetic and don't really affect the gloves' use but reflect on the overall quality of the product. Some of the stitching is incomplete (see pictures) and as such, threads just pop out of the glove as they were not terminated properly. This is only a problem if the loose thread were to get caught or if you were to pull on it, in which case, the entire stitch would be pulled out along the length of the palm. The gloves are asymmetrical. The fingers and palm fit fine, but for some reason, the thumbs are on the large side, in particular, the left thumb. The stitching on the left upper palm strap came out at the base because it looks like the stitches did not even go through the leather... The left glove has about 1/2 inch space between the upper palm strap and the wrist strap but on the right glove, there is no space at all. I think this glove could use better thumb protection; when you grip a bar naturally, the sides of your thumb come into contact with the bar. This glove provides protection to the bottom/palm side of the thumb, but not the side, which is covered only by fabric. As such, you'll feel the weight more to the bone on your thumbs than your palms. Maybe I just have thin fingers, so I'm more sensitive...Maybe if I had sausage fingers, these gloves wouldn't feel quite as bad. In any case, I decided to keep these and have been using them for months. It took me long enough to settle on these and I can't be bothered to search again for another pair. I'll try another brand in the future. If it matters at all to you, these gloves were made in Pakistan.

Good work out gloves, solid materials and good padding.
I ordered this gloves to make sure I wasn't damaging my hands while working out. I've had work out gloves and I wanted to make sure the next ones had good padding. I think I chose well. I wear size Medium and they fit great. The gloves have 2 adjustable velcro pads, one in the middle of the hand and another one on the wrist. The inside of the gloves is pretty soft. The gloves fit nicely on my palm and the padding is reasonable. It's padded enough so that you maintain flexibility of your hand without causing calices on my palms from holding the bar while lifting weights or doing pull-ups. The leather on the palm is good quality and the other material is cotton I believe. It feels soft and it breathes well. I've been using these gloves for a couple of weeks and have no complains.

Get What You Pay For
Bought these gloves a few months ago, within 3 weeks the top strap on my left hand has basically come off. The straps are weak and do not really bind the hand like more serious gloves should. Further, my calluses are especially bad with this glove after dead lifting. Simply put, these gloves are adequate for very light weights and non strenuous lifting. If you are a serious weight lifter spend the few extra bucks and get something with more support. I just wonder if people that wrote 5 star reviews actually lift weights or use these gloves while on the elliptical. Bottom line you get what you pay for, these are the base entry level gloves for weight lifting.

Buy These!
I have had these gloves for a long time. My other workout gloves were destroyed within 3 months. I have worked out with these 4-6 times a week for 1 year. I have washed these gloves in the washing machine, however I do not recommend drying them in the dryer (although I did and they were fine). Go ahead and buy these gloves if you were thinking about it. The quality doesn't seem that great when you put them on, but do not let it fool you. These gloves are amazing and I have bought one with wrist support through the same company. These gloves are my favorite to this day. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and buy these!

get a grip on things
I just ordered these gloves & they arrived before expected. These gloves are comfortable & fit snug for a perfect fit. I would recommend these gloves to anyone looking for a light weight glove dats not overly bulky and interferes with your grip. For da price you really can't complain. Sometimes looks are deceiving, so before you go & spend ridiculous money on a so called best of the best, research it & make your getting your bang for your bucks but then again... It's your money i'm just voicing my opinion and i'm sure they may very. Well with that said don't slip and lose your grip on over priced gloves that may very well split before you get your money's worth out of them.....YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!!

... gloves and these Muscle Composition gloves are clearly the best that I have tried
I have tried several brands of gym/weight-lifting gloves and these Muscle Composition gloves are clearly the best that I have tried. I workout four time a week and my first pair lasted a year before the velcro wore-out and the padding was just beginning to become "compressed." These gloves provide the highest degree of padding and the least obtrusive amount of effective wrist support of any glove that I have experienced. Highly recommended. I bought two pair this last purchase so I'm good to go for quite a while. Thanks, Muscle Composition

Good quality, good design. Recommended.
QUALITYVery good. The padding is soft but sturdy at the same time. All seams are well done and not very visible.DESIGNWell thought out. Two straps allow you to get your hand in and out of the glove while also having a good snug sensation when the strap is closed. The fingers are 35-40% covered which allows you to bend your fingers easily.I love the yellow/black color scheme. Very visible when looking for them in your gym bag!!SIZELarger than stated. In fact, after measuring my band per the seller's instructions and ordering a medium size, I has to return them for a small size.
