I normally make the boxed powdered stuff, and I’ve also had the cups with the powdered cheese years ago, and those taste great, but for some reason these taste bitter? Salty and bitter? At first, I thought maybe it’s the starch that’s causing the bitterness? So the second time I tried it, I rinsed out the starch and still, I taste the awful bitterness. It has to be sauce…Does anyone else taste the bitterness? I’m sticking to the powdered stuff.

Love an easy meal when I come home and don't "feel like it". We also take these on vacation as cheap hotel meals so we only buy what we really want and hunger never drives us to by something from a chain. This way we find great restaurants and food trucks. This is the best Mac and cheese me and my family have had. My kids absolutely love it. When we make it, it doesn't get scorching hot in the microwave. And the size is a good size for something to eat when you are hungry. It always comes quality, never have had a broken seal. And the consistency of it is so good and has always been the same. We also buy the box kind, but this is the main one that we buy now, since it's so easy to make and it just tastes so much better.
