Amazing, clean, soapy, lavender-amber men's fragrance - smells like a fresh spring morning.
This is my go-to daytime/office scent. Perfect all year round. It's friendly, clean, inoffensive, and elicits smiles and positive reactions from people in any room you walk into.NOTE: This fragrance has not been "reformulated", per se. Yes, the new juice is clear, and no longer purple, but the scent is exactly the same as before."In 2020, lilial was deemed by the EU’s European Commission to be a “carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic” substance".Since Prada, and thousands of other fragrance and cosmetic products used lilial, they had to remove it. So, the easiest way to differentiate the newer, lilial-free product was to make the juice clear. But it's still the same fragrance. :-)

My favorite scent for many, many years
Oh I realize I'm using a cologne or EDT for others in my life, but I also want to enjoy it myself, and this is my go-to. I never get tired of it, and when I was working in close quarters with others I would often get complements on how good I smelled. One never wants to offend, so that would make my day every time.

Fake or Not -- some insider information
First off, I have been using this since I received a sample back in 2005 when I worked for a magazine. And I've never wavered since. In terms of scent, it's not as musky, cowboy, earthy as many mens colognes though it's not as floral as you might think. It kinda sits right in the middle, but I'd definitely head to the mall to test it out before purchasing.More importantly, the only low reviews seem to be from people claiming it's fake or not real, etc ... so some insight on that.ALL high end fashion brands began selling (and notice I didn't say making) perfumes and colognes as a marketing ploy. Givenchy, Prada, Dior -- how much of their clothing does anyone own? Do you know anyone that consistently kicks this gear? The scents were there so us less elite folk could have a little piece of that world. At the same time, it was something they could advertise around -- ESPECIALLY around the holidays. This gives them a bit of a market boost as regular folks get to know the name, the brand is kept in the popular conscience recall, and of course lazy kids just buy some for their dads for xmas and fathers day. (btw, handbags for women are the same deal -- why do you think Vuitton doesn't really care to crack down on counterfeits -- its good advertising for the overall brand).SO, back to the fake thing -- all of these scents are outsourced to other companies -- from actually creating them chemically, to manufacturing the bottles, and distribution. Yes, the creative types might ask for a certain look for the bottle and identity for the smell ... but yeah, this is not like being made in some French or Italian Atelier. It's not haute couture or cognac. The point being -- anyone that thinks this is fake is just being snobby and has bought into the whole sales pitch of slicing off a little of the high end lifestyle. So let them buy this at Nordstrom for 90-110$ For the rest of us, this will totally do the trick. As someone that received their first bottle from Prada directly -- then went to Sephora to save a few bucks, then the discount fragrance shops in NYC, and now amazon ... no one will notice or care that you paid less, and the fact of the matter is that it is the same exact product (no one is stealing the formula and setting up a factory to create fake Prada amber) ...Only warning is that sometimes the cheaper options have slight issues with the bottles -- What I've noticed over the years are two main things: 1) the glue attaching the metal plate to the glass sometimes is not perfectly applied so its fudgy around the edges and 2) the spritzing mechanism sometimes does not create the most perfect mist ...But again, those are packaging aspects ... not the scent itself. So if for yourself or someone who won't complain about the above two issues. highly recommend.

Floral...almost feminine
Ok so this was a blind buy. This fragrance has a very strong floral smell bordering on masculine and feminine. I think I can pull it off inthe summer time tho.

Prada is fabulous!
This has got to be my all time favorite scent next to MK. I purchase this same size bottle for my husband years ago & it cost me about double, if not more than what I purchased it for here. He broke it & I couldn't see myself spending that much again & I never replaced it! I was looking for something nice to give him for Valentines & jackpot! I spray it on our sheets & I wear it as well. He works out of town during the week, so it's nice to smell while he's away... will definitely purchase from here again!

Ladies love this cologne on men
Not much to say besides WOW! I have over 100 bottles of top shelf cologne. Usually my 'new' bottle is my favorite until I get sensitized after a couple of weeks. That hasn't happened to me yet and it's been a few months. I tend to pass up all the others to get to this. Sometimes I do it just because nobody else in my area is wearing it and I want to leave a lasting impression. Other times I wear it just because it is so damn sexy smelling! Hard to describe but definitely worth the expense! Buy the biggest bottle and get the best deal right out of the gate. Don't make the mistake that I did and buy a small bottle only to come back later and get the economy size. I have yet to see a shower gel/kit for this but I would surely get that as well.Ladies: This is a great gift idea-even if your guy doesn't wear cologne. Get it for your pleasure. I promise that you will both be happy that you did.
