When i first unwrapped this cushion it looked to be well made and quite firm. As i sit for long hours at my computer i needed a firm support that would help elevate hip pain i have been experiencing lately. After sitting on this cushion for about an hour i found that it had completely flattened to around 3/4" in thickness, after waiting for another hour it had regained about half its original thickness. I decided to give this a full test and after using it on and off for a whole day i awoke this morning to find it was still completely compressed and had not regained its original thickness. I weigh around 198lb and am 6'-3" tall so not considered heavy so this should easily stand up to my weight, sadly it did not so it's going back to Amazon tomorrow!

I bought this to put on a cheap gaming chair that doesn't have much padding thinking this would provide plenty being as thick as it is.Boy was I wrong. I weigh 185-189lbs and this thing pretty much compresses to about .5-.75" (guessing) and provides pretty much no extra padding. My but still gets sore and I constantly have to adjust after sitting in it for only 15-20 minutes.I would not recommend this product, especially for almost $30.

I have two bulging discs in my lower back and sciatica. It is difficult to sit, stand, or walk for more than 20 minutes at a time. I'm a scrapbooker and crafter but haven't been able to do any projects without ending up in severe pain or back spasms.I was hoping this cushion would allow me tp sit longer than 15-20 mins. I was able to sit for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at a time without any pain or spasms!! I highly recommend this cushion!

The seat is comfortable and will expand back to it's normal thickness after getting off of it.Three improvements need to be done: 1.) The zipper needs to be larger. It is hard to get a hold of the metal piece just to unzip the seat material. 2.) The zipper needs to come around further on the perimeter of the seat cover. It is nearly impossible to get the inside seat material out in order to wash the seat cover. The seat has a foam structure which could be easily torn if you don't slowly work it out of the seat cover. I believe that sitting on it and then taking it out will assist in getting out a lot easier. 3.) It needs to be manufactured in the USA. Really ! Do u have to go to China to make it?

I actually bought this for my wife. I was very excited to give it to her due to the good reviews but after she used it several days I asked her what her opinion was. She said it was better than nothing but not as good as she hoped. I’d didn’t give her the cushion she had hoped for. Once you sit on it, it becomes pretty thin.

So I love this support cushion it is better than the last one I had...it really takes a good amount of pressure off my lower back. I sit over 6 hours a day and it helps to have the added support and cushion. I love this product and would buy it again.

I decided to buy this product instead of a more expensive cushion because I was looking to save money but it ended up being a waste of money. Its only comfortable for about an hour, before completely flattening out. Constantly causes me to shift around in the chair and it also makes my rear area/legs fall asleep.

I don't have any other products to compare this to. I mean I haven't used any other cushions like this. However this one seems to flatten out after you sit on it for a while. I guess I'd say it's not really sturdy. But I also guess I'd say you get what you pay for. This was pretty inexpensive and not terrible, but not great either
