Update: After submitting my original review, the seller reached out to me. They refunded my original purchase and said that they had updated their manufacturing processes so that the screw holding the ring doesn't break off. I've already purchased replacements but the seller offered to replace the product. I am unable to verify if the manufacturing has improved but I do appreciate the seller taking the time to respond to my review and offering a refund.I bought these for a cute detail for renting my airbnb rooms. But EVERY SINGLE ONE has broken! I painted black chalk paint on them and then wrote the room number on each. I also made one for my own key chain and a gift for someone else. The little screw that attaches the wood piece to the ring does not stay in place and works its way loose over a period of about a month depending upon how rough you are with your keys. I've continued to replace them for guests. But each guest has brought the keys back to me apologetically saying they broke the keychain. I've let them know it wasn't them; it was faulty manufacturing. However, I will be trying another product because this detail is really cute.If you're looking for something short term to then discard in the trash after it breaks, this is for you. If you prefer to purchase items with more sustainability, look elsewhere.
