I have been using my old model, the DM600 Dash Cam, for the last 7 months without any issues. I decided to upgrade to the newest model that came out this month, the DM1000 Dash Cam. The new model features a screen that shows your face while driving, a speed meter, a GPS tracker, and both front and rear cameras. It’s easy to install, and there is an app you can use to control your settings. I highly recommend it!

Camera works great. Crisp clear video and the large screen makes it niche for viewing if you don't want to use the app. Super easy to install. Very happy with my purchase. The front facing and adjustable in car/rear facing is great interior video. I have a convertible so it is great to be able to have a rear facing camera. It comes with a rear facing to, if you are driving a non convertible car. This would give you 3 views. Front, interior and back.

Seems to be a great cam system. Only problem is that the power cable from the primary camera is not long enough to reach the outlet in my truck that I would like to use (the one not on continually). I'm not sure I want the camera to be running constantly when the truck is not in use, since I use my truck only a couple of days a week. I'll test the camera in the constantly running port and update my review to indicate how much it drains the battery.Pros: video quality appears to be really good; easy to install; available hard-wire kit.Cons: power cable is a few feet too short for my vehicle.

The media could not be loaded. I really love this camera. The night vision works Great The view angles on it is enough to cover your whole vehicle. Memory capacity is really great on this camera audio picks up very well as well. Wi-Fi connectivity is also great works pretty fast. I love the design of the camera is small compact and looks great. I really do not have complaints about this camera.

Not sure how to explain this one since it was a good deal and it is very robust in features. However, it was far too darn involved just to open it and start off making sure how to work it before I even got it to a vehicle. Not sure I like the interface, I prefer something more simple. This was way too far involved than I thought when investigating it. Maybe some people will be ok, but I have no time to sit there and figure how to format the card where there are no instructions for that and some other basic stuff. Does make one feel bit clumsy or plain stupid even if you are good at tech. Installing it in the vehicle should be the tough part, not getting it together to test it and set it up. Doing the time stamp was quirky too. I kept recording and the mapping in the book (which was nice) had too much to ingest. I did better at UNIX than this thing. I also do not want to spend my life watching how to videos. This day and age these should be more simple. Not packing tons of stuff that you have to make the menus and all too involved. It is for traffic and maybe a picture. I had to give up.
