Good replacement for AKG K371
Fits and works well with my AKG K371. The braided cable sheathing is more resistant to knotting than standard sheathing. The strain relief with the spring on the input side is a bit strange but seems to work well enough. 3.5mm with screw-on 1/4 inch adapter is also good. No noticable sound difference from the stock cable.

Quality Cable
You get what you pay for. I couldn't be happier with the look and feel of this cable. Produces great sound to my headphones. I love the metal spring added to the end of the 3.5mm connector end and I also love cables that use techflex. I can tell this cable will last a long time. I will update this review if the cable has wear and tear that's caused by normal usage. 5/5 would buy again! Edit: Cable is still in mint condition. The spring on the end has come in handy a few times when I’ve accidentally yanked the cable from my amp. (Accidents happen) Overall, I’m satisfied with the quality of this cable.

Well-built and durable replacement cable
Great replacement cable for my AKG K240. Sound quality is excellent just as good as the original cable that came with the headphones. The cable feels durable and well-built and the connection to the headphones is solid.

Not bad, but a few issues.
The cord connects well, and seems to work fine, but has a tendency to kink and coil. I bought a braided cable to try and avoid this, and the kinks are simple to remove and not permanent, but can be annoying when I or a talent are recording in the studio. Might be looking for something else.

Far surpasses the original !
My fear was of another poor copy, third-party replacement thing. THIS IS OF HIGHER QUALITY AND BETTER DESIGN THAN THE ORIGINAL! I highly recommend this! Quality, durable material from end to end. It is also silent. Nothing much crystal clear sound/music. I love it!

Balanced headphone users be warned!
This cable is mostly fine. The TRS end is gold plated, as is the 1/4" adapter. This doesn't do anything, but it looks nice. The cable feels pretty good, and doesn't hold its previous shape (no worries about coiling up.) I only give it 4 stars because the cable is pretty prone to microphonics, where you can distinctly hear every sound it makes as it brushes against your clothing, blows in the wind, etc. There is one other thing to be aware of, however. This cable will not work with balanced headphones without some.... modifications. The mini XLR connection at the end only has 3 holes: L, R, and one ground pin. Balanced headphones have 4 pins: L, R, and two grounds for left and right. To use this cable with balanced headphones (say, a modded DT 770 pro) you will need to make two modifications. First, the XLR connection needs an extra hole to accommodate the extra pin, which I made by heating up a small wire brad on the stove, then melting through the plastic. You may want respiratory protection for this step. Then you will need to bridge the L and R ground pins in the headphone. You could do this by opening it up and resoldering it, or you could do what I did and take the less permanent solution of bridging the two pins with a small loop of stripped wire. Once this is complete, however, the cable works just fine with any pair of headphones you might throw at it.

Replacement cord fits perfectly ✨
I am so happy 😀 The cord is working perfectly. Thought I was going to have to buy a new set of headphones; after a friend's dog chewed my cord. And they aren't cheap. This cord doesn't tangle up like the original cord. The sound quality is perfect; no more cutting out when I am recording. The material covering and thickness is very nice 🙂 And fits really tight. Yes if you need a replacement cord for your AKG K240 headphones this is the one to get.

broken within 6 months
unfortunate, seemed good quality and worked fine for 6 months then one ear started going out, now I only have sound from the L side.
