EXCELLENT top coat. I keeps my nails looking nice for almost as long as gel but without damaging my nails. I'll upload a picture so you can see my nails after five days of washing dishes and doing normal life. You can see the nail regrowth near the quick and you can see that the nails did not chip at all. The trick is to paint a layer of this top coat between each layer of your preferred color and then do two topcoats after you're satisfied with how it all looks. Be sure and let it dry a few minutes between coats. It takes 2-5 minutes per coat. I use Beetles nail polish (NOT GEL) and it works super well. I've never found nail polish as good as this ever. Best of all? Acetone will take it off without a problem and my nails do not get damaged like they used to from gel polish. I don't waste ridiculous amounts of time trying to get this stuff off like I used to have to do with gel. Essie is the BEST!

I am a longtime fan of Essie nail polishes and strengtheners. I have tried so many other nail products, but Essie is my favorite by far. The products are vegan, and do not contain harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde. This top coat sets quickly, is nice and shiny, and stays on for over a week without chipping or cracking. I now buy my own Essie products and taking them to the salon and have my manicurist use these instead of what the salon carries. I find that my nails are much healthier and stronger when I use Essie products, and my manicurist gives me a discount for bringing my own products. Honestly I woukd happily pay full price for the manicure even with buying my own base coat, polish, and too coat, but she insists on the discount.
