I have had this 2-in-1 for a week now, and the battery life is better than the more expensive Surface Go-2 it is replacing, which is the major reason for the replacement. This also has 2X the amount of RAM and 4X the storage space of that Surface Go-2, and for less than half of the price (today) than the Surface Go-2 when it was purchased 4 years ago.

Pros: - Weighs less than 1kg - Nice look and feel - Full keyboard - Good price (I got it for 350 USD including a 50 USD coupon) Good Enough: - N5100 performance is suitable for my workflow - Temperature is under control Cons: - Speaker sound quality Firstly, I am a commuter: I bring my company laptop in a backpack every day and ride a 1-hour train twice daily. The company laptop does not allow me to install any software on it, but I want to work on my personal software project on the train to make good use of my time. So, I started looking for a small laptop that could serve this purpose. Initially, I tried to get a 2015~17 12-inch MacBook. The price was around 300~500 USD based on the condition. Then this one caught my eye. The design is nice, the weight is perfect, the price is good, and the specs are decent for the price. I know there is an N100 version coming, but I just couldn't wait, so I got the early 2023 model with an N5100. I initially thought the N5100 might be Chromebook-level slow, but it clearly isn't. Installing coding apps is very fast. Compiling and debugging also don't pose any issues. The N100 one might be better, but the N5100 is good enough for my usage. The size of the SSD and RAM also surprised me: 12GB + 512GB is not very common for sub-400 USD laptops. Definitely a plus. Even though it's small, it comes with a full keyboard. The key size is slightly smaller than regular, but all the keys are in the same location as a regular US layout. This is very important for coding, as I need the symbols a lot. I'm glad that this 2023 version includes a fan. When it's running at 100% CPU power, like when installing software, the temperature constantly stays around 70°C. That cooling fan helps release the CPU power and prevent overheating. But when I'm just coding, the core temperature is below 40°C. The screen is bright, and even though it's just FHD, because of the small size, I'd say it's retina-quality. I have a minor complaint about the speaker quality. While it's loud enough, the sound from the laptop is muffled. However, since I use this device on the go, there's very little chance I'll ever need those speakers.

I bought this Chuwi laptop because I missed my old netbook and wanted modern hardware that ticks the same checkboxes. It ended up far exceeding my expectations. It's a very compact system that I can take everywhere and it works great with my XReal glasses. The performance is surprisingly good for this price point, it's really a great value. I reformatted it and put a Linux distribution on it, which worked pretty much flawlessly aside from some minor screen rotation issues that were trivially fixable. I have no complaints at all, this thing is great value for the money and is a fantastic little travel laptop.

Delivering a 2-in-1, HD touchscreen, 12GB of RAM, and a 512GB hard drive, this CHUWI laptop would make a reasonable 13-15" laptop. However, at just 11", it is a terrific tool for everyday use. The Intel N150 processor will not blow you away, but it is more than sufficient for writing, browsing, and watching media. Add good battery life and this is a terrific everyday laptop.

Some of this is my fault. Maybe all of it. But I want to let ADULTS know unless you have fingers of a 7 yr old child this keyboard is so tiny I can't even send emails. Secondly pay attention to the ports. THERE ARE NONE. There is one that is for charger USB-C and one other usb c but not sure what it is for as the charging port says for data as well. If you want to use an external keyboard and mouse maybe it would work? But there is nothing else such as the other USB or card slots etc. I will say it works fine. Seems to not hold charge for long. I should have given a time here but I think it is maybe an hour and then needs charging. Got what I paid for. Was only wanting to browse and email but again if I have to add a keyboard and or mouse then it sort of defeats the purpose I had intended to use in lap. Just an FYI review really. If you have tiny hands and fingers and do not need to use it off charger for long then maybe it is a great deal. Maybe a kid doing homework on a small desk?
