I have fine, uncolored, and not very thick hair, so it’s hard to find a treatment that doesn’t weigh it down but still works. This mask truly impressed me! Hair Type: I have long, fine, wavy to curly hair that is damaged on ends from sun and general length. My hair loves protein, and tends towards frizziness in humidity or when it doesn't get enough protein or moisture. Hair Needs: I'm always looking to add softness, shine, and support the length of my ends. I live in a tropical climate that has very intense sun and wind, and I have a lot of sun-bleaching on my ends. Product Review: This conditioning mask really surprised me--I didn't have high expectations since the ingredient list is rather simple, and there are no silicones in the ingredient list. The product itself comes in a large tube, and is thick and creamy in texture. Unfortunately, it smells strongly like an Elizabeth Arden lipstick from 1989. It has a powerful old-lady floral scent that really reminds me of the way scented cosmetics in the 1980s and 1990s used to smell--so not good. I was so turned off by the scent when I used it for the first time that I was ready to immediately return it. But when my hair air-dried, I was left with soft, shiny, healthy looking waves with lots of body. Given how fine and dry my hair is, I often find that products that effectively condition my hair will also weigh it down, while products that maintain my natural body and texture will leave my hair with some frizz or dryness. This conditioning mask seems to hit the perfect balance for my hair, leaving it full of body but also very softy and shiny. TLDR: I'm willing to put up with smelling like a Macy's cosmetics department for the sake of having beautiful hair. Life is full of trade offs.

Instantly noticed the hydration from this hair mask. Left my hair very smooth with a shine, but not greasy. A little goes a long way and this product comes in a big bottle so it would last quite awhile. Has a very good scent, but can’t quite place it. This mask was very easy to use. After having a family member use this hair mask as well, I would say it works great with any hair type!

This hair mask has been a great fit for my hair. I live in the upper Midwest where the winters are brutal on my hair and skin. I have thick, dry and coarse textured hair. I was previously using a hair mask that only partially helped at 3 times the cost of California Naturals. When I use this CN mask, my hair feels heavily moisturized without it being it being weighed down. I tend to get tangles at the bottom of my hair, but not when I use this! I am scent sensitive and the rose scent is light and pleasant without being obtrusive. It doesn't bother me one bit. The product is 98% naturally derived according to their website. For anyone looking for hair products with less chemicals, this is the one to try. The brand is women founded & led, made in California, USA and is vegan and cruelty free. I'm always on the lookout to find better, cleaner products at a more affordable price point. I only wish I knew about this product sooner! I highly recommend this mask.

I love this stuff!! I have been battling hair thinning that leads to tangles, horrible tangles! My hair has also gotten dry and frizzy (thank you menopause) I have been using this a long with the shampoo and conditioner and my hair is virtually tangle free, moisturized and soft! I have tried so many (expensive) products to get the results I have been searching for and now my search has ended. The bottle is a very good size and I was pleasantly surprised. It's nice and thick and coats the hair well making it extremely effective. The scent is a little flowery for me, but not overpowering...and how can you not love the natural ingredients?! Definitely a customer for life.

Feels nice. I used it on my body (it says you can!) and it definitely made my skin softer. My hair is a bit softer, but nothing crazy. Feels like a normal conditioner. I always love a natural multi-use product though! Made my shower easier. Edit: I kept using it, hoping for more results. It tangles my hair more than a normal conditioner, and I have straight hair. I like it as a body product but won’t repurchase.
