Very happy with these dumbbells. I had the Bowflex adjustable dumbbells that were recently recalled. I really liked those as well, but these REP adjustable dumbbells are better. Pros: - Compact and comfortable to lift. - As my son says, grip like "real" dumbbells. I saw some reviews complain that the grip hurts, I find it provides a firm hold especially when my hands get sweaty. I could use gloves, but not needing that. - Easy to shift between weights; added 2.5 lb weights easy to add and subtract to allow for incremental changes. - I really like the design and finding it easier to do over-the-head and bicep exercises than with my (longer) Bowflex dumbbells. - Seemingly sturdy (a lot of metal) and well made. Excellent packaging including a quality control sign-off in each box sent. Cons: - I bought the 50lb weights. A heads up that they sent me the 30lb set and then in separate packages sent the remaining 20lbs. Easy to install more weight, but they should have given notice that it would be shipped in "pieces" this way. The extra weights came days later, so I actually filed a return request to Amazon and was about to process that. Overall, worth the price in my opinion.

Awesome product. I have a small room for workouts and while these are large, they are really nice for having a full range of weights in a space way smaller than a full dedicated rack would take. Makes them easy to store and travel with too. A little loose/clanky as you attach more weight, but you get used to it, and does not affect using them at all. Handles feel great in the hand too. Switches are thick and chunky, just don't forget to lock them or your toes are on the line! Only complaint is the microweights have to be placed from the top of the handle (main weights let you set the handle into them) and the position of the microweight switch has caught on my clothing a couple times so pay attention when first using them - you get used to holding them to avoid this. Durable, quick to switch, and easy to store - would definitely recommend them to anyone who has limited space and has the budget - I'd consider them great for the price considering some alternate options approach almost twice the cost.

I previously owned Snode, so this is my comparison as well as pros and cons Pros: - Lifetime warranty, significantly better than Snode's 3 or 5-year warranty - Over $300 cheaper compared to Snode - Base is lighter and easier to move around than Snode's - Can remove weights without putting back in the base - Width is manageable for shoulder press workouts - Easy to tell if something broke or lose because of the design - You can have different weights, good for certain workouts - Easy 5 pound increment compared to Snode's magnet BS which makes it harder to put back to the base - Base is reversible unlike Snode. Meaning you can interchange or put the other way around which Snode does not really like Cons: - Slightly wider than Snode dumbbells - Maximum weight capacity of 60 lbs, which is limiting for certain back work outs, however for every other work outs, this is way more than enough to get really strong - Knurl is not as premium feeling compared to Snode, but still great, no issues and does not hurt your hand - Weight numbers on the base is hard to read since it is black on black but it is etched. Since the numbers are on both sides, I fixed it by painting one side with white paint marker. Now it looks really good - 60 pound max, I wish it can go up to 80 even if it was very wide, but Peppin is too pricey and not lifetime warranty

Great space saver. Offer weights in increments of 5. Easy to assemble, although it takes some time to do the math to figure out how to get each weight due to the numbers on the side not being color coded. Still well made and a great investment for a home gym with easy adjustments. Came in a large number of boxes (maybe 5-6 boxes).

What can I say, they are from REP Fitness. Very well made, durable, well packaged adjustable dumbells. No problem getting them placed in their Individual cradles and used. Adjustment was easy. I have dropped them once on my garage floor, the only damage was to the cement floor of my garage. They still work perfectly, I wasn’t worried, they come with a lifetime warranty. They get used 6 days a week on average and not a single problem. Great Dumbells!!!
