Awesome bag!!
We purchased this bag for our bike tour in Europe. We just returned from 8 days of biking. This bag is fantastic. It endured many miles in the pouring rain in Holland. I wiped off the trail dirt at night and the bag was dry by early morning and ready to go again. It is a good size. Big enough to hold our rain gear, etc...yet not so cumbersome that we could haul it on our shoulder with the supplied strap when we were touring castles. It came very quickly. We actually ordered two separate bags as I needed to be sure it arrived in time. The other bag seemed to be identical to this one. I just chose one to keep and returned the other. Good price as there were others on the tour with us that paid three times as much and their bag was awkward in size to carry comfortably. . Well designed bag with lots of potential
Was looking for a simple rack bag and didnt really pay attention to all the features, but I ordered this because it was well rated and met my basic needs. Once received I found out about the extending panniers that come out of the side pockets and that the top of the bag extends upward for more capacity. Throw in the rain cover and you have a great bag for daily commuting. I can easily fit my work clothes in the top, a pair of shoes in one of the side panniers and still have room for extras in the other side. Small loop on the back of the bag works great for attaching my light to also. Probably not the sturdiest bag I have ever ordered, but seems to be well constructed and has been holding up well so far.

New bag is sturdy
UPDATE:Just received a replacement product after speaking with seller. My old strap broke after a few rides and after riding my bike yesterday, I can tell that this new bag with wider and more sturdy straps will last me a long time. The bag is now extremely firm and I almost feel I can pack a lot more weight if needed. The straps are wider and stronger, but somehow it also feels a lot easier to take apart when you are traveling.I have a 20" Schwinn foldable Loop bike, and use this bike to ride to the gym as a means of working out a little bit extra. Would highly recommend for someone who wants to spend the day biking and not carrying their wallet, keys, phone, drinks, or extra set of clothes / groceries.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Was very happy with initial purchase. Perfect size, fit on the back of my shwinn 20" looper foldable bike. The side pockets don't clip the tires and you can fit gym clothes, battery chargers and a bottle water without using the side bags.It rained here in Los Angeles (very rare). I wanted to test the rain cover so I rode my bike in the rain. At the end of my 10 minute bike ride, there was a two inch hole. Luckily I didn't have any gear inside but my battery pack would for sure be broken. After 5 bike rides to my best friend who lives 6 blocks away and 1 bike ride for about an hour, the back strap of the pack ripped off and I can no longer use this bag. What a bummer. Ordered this in December bag ripped about 2 weeks later.I'll add pictures later tonight

Great all around bag; fabulous for this price!
Holds an amazing lot of stuff and straps are secure enough to hold firmly on bumpy terrain. I like having a shoulder strap available as there are times when I'll bring the bag with me as opposed to leaving it unattended on the bike. The price was MUCH better than bags locally available in bike stores. Zippers are well placed and work smoothly. The drop down saddle bag portions will hold a lot of stuff, but be cautions when using these on windy days so nothing inadvertently comes in contact with moving spokes. I also bought the under the seat storage bag from Tancendes, but there is not adequate space to use both, at the same time. I'll update this post if anything goes wrong with the bag in the near future, but at this time, I would gladly purchase other products from this vendor. Well made and at a very reasonable price.

Spacious and useful, now with some improvements!
UPDATE:The manufacturer contacted me about this review and worked to "make me whole". They made some changes to the product based upon the feedback I provided in this review; namely it seems they reinforced the stitching on the rack straps and used thicker material for both the rack straps and the carrying handle straps. I've only had it on my bike one day so far, but it seems considerably sturdier now and I expect that this one is going to last.Original review follows:Pros:• Lots of space! Side paniers, then an expandable top. I can fit an entire outfit in the top section expanded (though admissibly, I have small feet otherwise the shoes wouldn't fit.)• Fastens easily to a rack.• Stays stable on the rack.• Rear light/reflector clip hookCons:• First week I had it, the fabric connecting the top handle went threadbare. It should be gone soon.• Today (second week I had it) I bumped it with my foot while getting on the bike, and the straps attaching it to the rack both ripped apart and the bag fell straight off the bike. Now I'm going to need to bungee it or something.Based on this, I doubt the bag will last very long.

The first bag arrived with a bad hook and loop strap on the bottom that unraveled ...
I've got two of these bags. The first bag arrived with a bad hook and loop strap on the bottom that unraveled and would not hold the bag to my bike rack. The second bag (a free replacement) is perfectly functional and there are no defects at all with it. I like the reflective stripe around the bag and that it has a handle, a shoulder strap, and best of all: a rain cover. The saddle bags don't tie down or attach to my frame and they're soft, meaning they don't have a stiff backing to keep them rigid. They do hide in the side pockets, however. I was not aware that the bag has an expansion zipper at the top so if you need a little extra space, there's that. Otherwise, it's an OK bag overall. My original bag is being used as a first aid kit in my car and the second bag is now a backup for my bike. I really like that the saddle bags fold away when not in use, but that sort of robs a bit of space for extra carrying capacity such as my tools and repair kit. Still, overall, a good bag.
