I have 2 Dachshunds, one is a senior and the other is 4 years old. My senior dog had such bad breath that you could smell it across the room! This same guy has always had bad teeth and has had to have several pulled over the past few years. When I took them in for their wellness check up and vaccinations a month ago, I was told that my senor dog needed more teeth pulled and that my 4 year old could use a tooth cleaning. I'm sure you all know how costly dog dental care can get and so after reading the reviews on this product, I decided to give it a try.My senior dog's teeth are still quite yellow but the tarter he was starting to build up is GONE!! My 4 year old's teeth are WHITE and have NO sign of tarted starting to build at the gum line!! There was no way I thought this product, or anything else on the market would work like this, especially after just one week's use! I am one of those pet owners who brush their dogs' teeth every day and thought that would take care of any dental issues, but it hasn't. This product, however, is not part of their daily routine!To address the issue of the taste. The first time I gave it to my boys, the older one immediately liked it but the younger wasn't too sure. By day 2, neither would touch their food unless it was sprinkled on top. Just guessing, but I honestly believe they would eat it straight out of the scoop now. My sister-in-law has a small dog who is a VERY picky eater but she reports that her little one loves this too.

I don't write reviews often because I'm rarely motivated to take the time unless something goes really wrong, or really right. In this case, I'm glad to say it's the latter. We've been struggling with our frenchie's breath (rotten fish anyone?) and the only advice we got from our vet was to brush her teeth more often. We tried that (much to her dismay) and not only was it not fun for either of us, but it didn't seem to make much of a difference.We decided to try this at the recommendation of a friend, and although our pup was initially skeptical of a change to her dinner routine, she ended up licking her bowl clean after that first meal. We're just about to finish our first jar and this is the best her breath has smelled since she was a puppy. She now goes crazy for the stuff (in a good way) and it's made her kisses so much sweeter for everyone on the receiving end. I've just added this to our Subscribe & Save and highly recommend giving it a try if your dog's breath is stopping you from getting up close and personal.

I found that shaking this into my dog's food worked bast for me, rather than. Sprinkling it on the top. She didn’t seem to want to eat her food when I sprinkled it. I have definitely noticed a difference in her breath with using this for her. She is a13 yo Morkie and just has the normal plaque build up. I do recommend this product.

So far this product is doing what it advertises. Our dog loves the taste and her breath is better. I can't give it 5 stars because we haven't used it for 30 days but we are very happy with it so far. We are waiting to see how it attacks the tarter on our dog's teeth as the final test.

TLDR; would definitely recommend! Helping with my dogs breath and he actually eats the powder!I have the hardest time getting my dog to let me brush his teeth, so I’ve been looking for an alternative to help with his bad breath and tooth tartar. I’ve been using this powder for the past week and so far really like it! And a plus that it has posbiotics. Previously I was using another dental powder I found on Amazon but my dog seems to like the taste of this one wayyyy more and the fact that it’s a fine powder makes it so easy to coat his dry kibble. The other powder I used was kind of grainy and would all fall to the bottom of the bowl so not really get eaten. My dog is soo picky so I’m really impressed he ate everything with the powder and that I’ve already noticed a difference in the last week. I’m hoping this product will help soften his tartar over time which will help me when brushing his teeth (since realistically I’m brushing his teeth maybe 1x a week). Now that my dog is 7 I want to really focus on his oral health (wish I had started earlier), because tooth problems are a big deal for little dogs.

this product had both my dogs after using it twice with severe diarrhea. I had to stop using it. It was a waste of money for me. I will not give this to my dogs again.

I haven't seen any difference on my dog's teeth. Not sure how long it takes to work, but so far my dog's teeth look the same

This product definitely does more than I expected. My fur babies LOVE the smell and it has helped their breath. All of my fur babies get excited and can’t wait for their meals. It’s easy to sprinkle and mixes into the food easily. Looks like powdered sugar with a bacon smell.
