Best cover ever
At first we were feeling buyers remorse, even before we made the decision to buy it. $1800 is a lot to pay for a bed cover, But after receiving it, WOW! No regrets. We've had it a little over a year, and have never regretted the price. Other truckers are envious but won't admit it. They say theirs is good enough. You know, the flip kind, the vinyl kind, the tilt kind. My wife and I knew we would not put up with those types of covers. This one looks great, works great, and does not have to be removed or flipped, with a fifth wheel. We simply push a button on the remote or use the toggle switch just inside the tailgate to retract it, or close it. I wouldn't have any other kind of bed cover.

Love my BedLocker
I recently installed this Pace Edwards Bedlocker on my truck. I didn't buy it here on Amazon, but I should have since they have a better price. At the time I was shopping, I didn't see it here though. I wanted an electric retractable bed cover for my 2012 F-350 long bed and this fits and functions perfectly. It was really quick to install. I did it alone, but the job would have gone faster if I had help to lift and maneuver the canister into place. I used blocks of wood under the canister for alignment until it was attached to the rails. The rails need to be aligned as parallel as possible, so take the time to measure and adjust as needed.I am a diver, and frequently do dive/camping outings. Now, I can lay all the gear in the bed, close the cover, and lock the tailgate and my gear is secure. This also frees up space inside the cab.The cover is actuated by the remote fob (2 included). There are 2 buttons: Open & Close. Press the button once, and it starts to open. As it's moving, press the button again and it stops. Then you can hear an electrical click, which I believe is the brake locking the cover into place. Most manual covers are indexed to lock every 12" or so. Not this one. It'll lock where you stop it. When I tow my fifth wheel RV, I plan to stop the cover up against the hitch to keep airflow out of the bed as much as possible. When I brought my propane cylinder to get filled last week, I put them against the tailgate and let the cover stop itself against the cylinders. They were locked into place without needing to be tied down with straps as I did before.I show this cover off so much, I hope I don't wear out the motor. Everybody loves it. The only negative I would mention is the rails bow a bit in the middle. I have a long bed and I feel it should have 1 more bracket in the middle instead of just 1 at each end. But, extra brackets are available and I plan to get some. Mine has the standard rails, but if I had installed the Explorer rails, it would be fine with just the 2 brackets. The Explorer rails appear to be stiffer since they are channeled to slide rack systems onto them. Perhaps the short bed trucks would be fine with the 2 brackets on standard rails.Oh yeah, did I mention I love my BedLocker?!
