This coffee table is just the right size and height and the finish is rich-looking. I'm very impressed with the quality of it for the low cost. Definitely a good buy. It was easy to assemble even for one person, but you do need a way to support the bottom shelf part while you're putting in the support screws. I tried using a box and ended up trapping the box inside the table so I had to unscrew everything again (I don't recommend this) :). Otherwise, the instructions are very straight forward, all the pieces were in the box and it went together in less than an hour. It's gorgeous in my living room--very happy with this purchase!

I like this coffee table. It arrived yesterday ~ quick delivery!!!!! The table was packed really well. My husband & I put it together rather easily. All of the assembly hardware & an allen wrench were included. The instructions to put it together are good. It is sturdy & heavy & is stained in dark cherry. The only thing that isn't wonderful about is.... somebody at the factory or packing facility must have dropped it on one end of the oval top. It was damaged and had been sort of repaired. There looked like there was fiberglass put into the cracks. I went to the hardware store today & got a wood scratch repair pen. It looks OK after the wood repair pen because I have that end of the coffee table facing in the direction in our living room where it is not directly visible.

Ordered the table and when it came it was scratched and one end was banged up. Got a replacement table this week and yep, banged up again. Subpar packaging of the table. Even the delivery guy said the packaging was not very good. Waiting on my refund. Will not be buying from this company ever again. It was a beautiful table but will not waste my hard earned money on something that banged up. I would not recommend this product.

Arrived without damage, not ascratch on it and I put it together myself in under 30 minutes. The color is more of a walnut brown than the normal red tones of cherry wood but the table is lovely, sturdy, and a great bargain.

This product came damaged It was delivered to the wrong address. I would have liked to return it but it was too heavy The price point was okay

This arrived in tremendous packaging! All the pieces were beautiful rich dark cherry wood in perfect condition. The hardware and tool made it easy to build, and we were pleasantly pleased with how sturdy and nice-looking this table is in the room. A great buy at a good price! (We purchased the matching 'round' end table and were just as pleased with it.)

We actually got it damaged the first time but they sent a replacement in record time and that one looked great. We didn't want a big table or anything too elaborate so this table is perfect. It's heavier and sturdier than it looks too, specially for the price.

I should have known better, when paying just over $300 for a table that it was not solid wood. The Steve Silver website says it is made of "hardwood solids and birch veneers", but the instruction booklet that comes with the table states the top is birch veneer on MDF, bottom shelf is birch veneer on MDF, legs are hardwood. The end of the table top arrived damaged...it did not help that there was only 1 1/4" of foam at the ends of the box to protect the top from damage. The birch veneer top has an inlay with four quadrants, which would look fabulous on the table if it wasn't askew! The borders of the inlay do not line up at all with the four legs, it's turned counter-clockwise by about 10 degrees. Fortunately the colour of the stain is dark enough that no one else notices the top but me, and the stain is darker than what you see in internet pictures. I was given a generous discount by the marketplace seller for the damage. If it wasn't so hard to find an oval coffee table with a cherry finish I would have returned it. The credit will help me get the table damage repaired.
