Lavany Paraffin Wax Warmer, 0.5 Hour Fast Wax Meltdown Paraffin Bath, Keep Warm up to 180 mins (Green)

My Occupational Therapist, who has been working with me on my right hand. I have mild arthritis, but use my hands a lot for work, so I want to try to at least slow the symptoms of the inevitability of arthritis. She always gives me a parafin wax treatment, as the kind of wet/dry head really penetrates my skin, muscles and joints. She recommended I purchase one for home use. I didn't want to buy the cheap kind, but couldn't spend a ton of money, either. I recommend this unit, as actually shows the temperature. My OT recommended 129-135 degrees, and she was right...anything more is just too hot for my skin. You need to get quite a few parafin wax inserts than comes with this unit, however, as it's not enough to easily and comfortably cover your hand and a bit of your wrist. Not suitable for knees - it's just not a big enough opening - in my opinion. I use it on my right hand once every evening before bed. I'm really happy with it so far.

I had a great deal of trouble regulating the temperature from following the included directions. The wax melted quite rapidly but never entered a cool down or stay warm mode so I had to dip quickly splashing hot wax all over. I was about to give up trying to re-regulate according to the directions but asked my friend who does all my electronic work to try to re-set it before calling the company. Now it seems to be working very well and I'm quite happy with it. I guess it was user error all along since no one else had a similar problem. I, also, bought unscented wax after reading a review stating that the wax that came with it had a very strong scent. Three pounds has lasted for both hands and feet on three separate nights and will probably do another two if I'm careful. I think it was a wonderful buy considering that it came with the wax, the liners, and two mitts included. My hands and feet are feeling softer than they have in ages. Thank you Lavany.

I love this device but am disappointed in the temperature control. My arthritis is so bad, I use it often. Have to check the temp with my own digital cooking thermometer since it heats up past a safe level. The instructions are pretty useless. misspelled, and very brief.The rose smell from the provided paraffin is a bit strong. I ordered another lavender product. You can reuse the paraffin more than the instructions say.

This is a great wax warmer, the only problem we have is that we cannot reduce the settings of the heat to a default setting. It always defaults to a hot temperature. Sometimes we want to dip our entire hand in there but we can't because the wax is so HOT. Like TOO HOT. You definitely need a brush to apply it to your hand, other than that it is a great product.

Heats up wax decently fast. Hold temperature at approximately what I set the “keep warm” temperature to. Doesn’t hold to the exact temperature. Otherwise, has a temperature gauge, which I liked. The wax that it came with had a really strong smell. I ordered scentless wax to use. Only comes with hand mitts. I could dip my foot in. My foot size is 6.5 womens.

Machine itself gets exceedingly hot something isn't right with one I have. Can't put hands in it. I have to get a spoon and pour it on hands.Uodate. 2020 Have only used it a few times and never heard back from seller. I tried to use it today and heard a popping and the plastic lid by handle broke off because of heat it started to melt. Please don't buy this one. It is defective.Waste of money.

This is one of the best items I bought so far. I been really wanting a paraffin wax warmer, but I haven’t found the right one until now. Even though this is on the pricier side, you pay for what you get. It is a good wax warmer and it is easy to use. It is big and convenient, so that things don’t get messy. I am definitely enjoying my wax warmer.

Gave it four because I wish it was deeper to cover the whole hand better. Such a relief for painful hands!
