Hair Extension Leave in Mist

Works soooo well I finally used this on a set of my extensions it is truly the best thing for them. Deep condition and then follow up with this and they will come back to life!

This stuff works great but it reeks like strong, old-fashioned perfume.

I've never written a review about a beauty product but I feel like someone else is in my situation and would like to hear this. I have been wearing extensions for many years and the newest set I bought recently I left bleach on the ends too long while ombre'ing (totally not a word) it. I bought a new brand of bleaching powder and being in a rush figured it was the same as my last and left it on for 30 minutes (40Vol developer) I know, huge mistake that could have cost me a lot of money. Anyway, rinsing off the bleach the ends started gooing up and pulling off. I knew exactly what was happening and carefully washed out the rest of the extensions and let them air dry without brushing them. The next day I mixed 4 egg yokes, some honey and some olive oil in a bowl with a small bit of warm water and doused my dry brittle extensions in it. I left it in there for about 2 hours and rinsed them out in lukewarm water. (anything warmer and you will cook the egg and have a huge mess to pick at). I then took Miracle 7 Blonde repair conditioner and ran that through the hair carefully to untangle it all with my fingers and rinsed it out after about 20 minutes. I lightly sprayed the hair with the leave in mist and let the extensions air dry and carefully combed them with the widest comb I had, it was a lot easier now. The next day I was able to wear them. They were still a bit dry so the next morning when I was getting ready for work I more generously sprayed the mist on them, especially at the ends and middle where the hair felt the driest and where the damage was. I am happy to say that that completely solved my problem. My hair is soft and shiny again, I am able to style it without worrying about more damage from pulling at tangles (I try to use rollers on them but since this also has a heat protectant spray I can style occasionally and get several days of a curl from it). I gave it 4 stars for the fact that it smells like my grandmas perfume and is entirely too strong. Even when I first bought it and lightly sprayed it it was strong but the trade off for having healthy looking extensions is worth it. Clearly some people like the smell so it's a personal preference, I would say if you like floral smells you might like it. I would recommend this product.
