Please note there are two different versions of this box set available, Rhino & Sanctuary. If you want the U.S. labels on the 45s, i.e. the famous pea green color on the early releases and the streets of Burbank, CA on later ones, get the Rhino release. The Sanctuary version has the black and white vertigo effect on some of the labels. That's how to tell.

Why would anybody in their right mind buy this box set? Yes, all the material has already been released, I realize that, but by definition, Black Sabbath fans who have the money to spend on this box, are NOT of “right mind”! I understand that many like vinyl, but this music is already available on vinyl, and each slab of vinyl has in album’s worth of music on it not just 2 songs on each record. So again, why would anybody buy this? Because it’s cool, that’s why. If you were to buy the originals of the singles, it would cost you a lot of money. A lot more than these reissues. Not only that, most likely they will be used, not brand new, like these. But nothing I said will make any sense if you are not a Black Sabbath fan. So, how do they sound? Great! - they did a great mastering job. No clicks, pops, rush or anything that would indicate that they didn’t use virgin vinyl for this set. And did I mention they are very cool? Very, very, very cool. So, objectively, this box makes no sense. Subjectively, it makes perfect sense. Plus, if you keep the box and it’s contents in good condition, it will increase in price. No, I’m not saying that the box should be purchased as an investment. That would be stupid. Buy it because the artwork of each single is cool. If you have the money, buy it because playing vinyl is fun. Buy it because playing vinyl SINGLES is even fun’ner. Buy it coz you’re a ‘Sabbath fan. You are a ‘Sabbath fan, right?One star off because the covers aren’t all glossy. And because I had to pay full price. ;)

If you are asking yourself how good the replicas are: they honestly look amazing. The actual folders have different finishes, they sound great, and the box itself have nice details.Based on the prices, I wouldn’t pay more than £50. If the seller ask for more, just check another platform and be patient!
