I have been using this clamp mount tablet stand on a daily basis for my 9.7 iPad Pro for three months now and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s sturdy and stable and so far has not drooped or needed to be re-adjusted even taking the iPad on and off several times a day. I have it mounted to the arm of a chair and i can easily swing it out of my way or back into position again as needed. I will be curious, however, to see if this pivot point/joint fails over time as it did in the mount (made by another manufacturer) which this one replaced. The only problem that I have encountered and it’s really not much of an issue, is that the clamp tends to loosen and move out of position slightly over time. Not a big deal at all, just something I need to keep track of. I have owned a number of clamp on mounts, some of which were pretty pricey and this mount is hands down, the best mount I have ever owned and the price is extremely fair for such good quality. The only feature I don’t particularly care for is having to use various sized Allen wrenches, which are provided in the box, to adjust the stand. On the other hand, if this is the reason that the stand maintains its adjustment so well, then so be it. On a final note, I want to mention how responsive and helpful the company's customer service is. When their coupon code wouldn’t work on Amazon checkout, they refunded the discount amount within a day or so of contacting them. When Amazon lost my first order during shipping, I contacted Everywhere Focus customer service again and they responded within a day and went above and beyond to make up for my inconvenience. I know that it must seem silly to gush so over a tablet mount. But I have been through quite a few other brands and have had lots of disappointments. So far, the Everywhere Focus has not disappointed me at all and I am planning on ordering another one at some point.

March 2019: I use this when I set up a hot desk in various places: in a library, in a lecture theater, in my office, etc.. It has totally transformed the ease with which I can use my tablet! I can focus more intently in a lecture, because this makes it easier to read the presentation slides during the lecture. At a desk, my tablet can act as another monitor (I attach it to the top of the divider between the desks).Treat the allen screws like a cyclist would treat the screws on a bike: tighten them hard, but carefully. If the screws are tight enough, you can extend the arm out horizontally. In general, this mount improves the stability of the tablet compared to free-standing mounts.Edit (Sept 2019): Unfortunately, after only five months of constant use, the ball in the ball-and-socket became so smooth that the tablet would not hold upright, and would slowly drop down, no matter how tight I tightened the screw. I have to now drop a star from 5 stars to 4 stars. I have just tried to solve this problem by putting some sandpaper in the ball-and-socket. Even though a ball-and-socket is a simple design, it would not be a durable design for any tablet holder. Tablet holders need to be surprisingly durable and strong, as constant use and a heavy tablet take its toll. Perhaps a more durable design would be to have fixed locking mechanisms that do not move so easily, but require some skill to adjust, rather than swivels that only stay stiff based on pressure. I know that would be less intuitive and more difficult to use, but it really would be far more practical for the person who wants their tablet to be a work machine. All this being said, I think tablets are a fairly new technology, so tablet holders haven't yet become very durable, but this present holder is the best one I think that I have come across. I wouldn't really trust the gooseneck type of holder. Also, the design of the present holder is neat and smart, and my suggestions would only make a holder look more ugly.

This works. It is very adjustable and holds both my iPhone 6 Plus as well as an iPad Mini, both with bulky Otter cases. It can be used for video-conferencing in a pinch. Ideally, it'd be about 3-4" higher. Alas, I value stability over height; it has little vibration when pressed. It also looks very sturdy.Update: I've been using this for a month know. It's fantastic. It's easy to get an iPhone in/out and it remains very firm yet adjustable.

It is rugged and feels sturdy, it is not adjustable easily. It requires a tool to losses joints to re-adjust. This may be ok as a business but I need to re adjust positions frequently. Even still they slowly become loose and your tablet winds up looking at the floor, hopefully you still have that hex key...

Decent construction, but only works in the one configuration shown. The armature is not strong enough to suspend a large ipad. Would be good for an iphone or a mini, but nothing larger.

This does NOT work with the iPad Pro 12.9. It cannot handle the weight and doesn’t hold in place. This may work for the mini, and it does seem pretty solid, but the Pro 12.9 is way too heavy.

Quality construction,heavy duty swivel points that you can really tighten down . It can hold a substantial amount of weight . Fits 12.9 iPad Pro without a case . One nit pick is I wish you didn’t need the included Allen wrenches to adjust the position of he stand . But it’s probably heavier duty without .

After trying a competing product that was 2/3 the price that failed miserably, I am very satisfied with this product. It took a minute to assemble and is very stable, easily accommodating my 12.9” iPad Pro and very sturdy.My only recommendation (and the difference between a 4 vs. 5 star review) would be for the mounting bracket to accommodate more depth. This barely fits onto our counter.
