Texture: They are very soft and come individually wrapped in plastic, which I thought was wasteful, but they dry out pretty easily if you only need part of the treat. I keep one treat in the plastic and then keep that in a small airtight container because otherwise they dry out pretty easily. When they dry out, they get very crumbly and are messy. Keeping them stored the way I have been has helped prevent that, as my dog is pretty small and her pills are tiny, so one treat lasts her at least 2-3 days. Quality: Cleaner ingredients, I feel comfortable giving these to my senior dog, who needs a low-sodium diet. Flavor: She absolutely loves the flavor of the Hickory Smoke Beef, and I just got her the Peanutbutter Banana, which I know she will love.
