The Art of Yoga [Oct 17, 2005] B.K.S. Iyengar

Great book with updated photos of how Shri BKS Iyengar's asanas evolved with time.It is nice to see different angles.My only gripe with this book is that I wish it had more photos, with more variations that included more of the postures found in LOY.

Good. Used for technical skills. However, advanced. Doesn't show progression.

I am a long ti9me practitioner of Iyengar yoga. This book has larger photos than those in Light on Yoga and I appreciate that. They are not fine art photos but they do the trick

The Art of Yoga Book was ordered 8/14 and received 9/11- almost 4 week later despite the fact that I was charged s/h. Seller stated it was due to USPS. Maybe s/he should consider using a different service if this one proves to be unreliable again.I have studied Iyengar Yoga for almost 20 years and was hoping to find a book with pictures and names only all of the poses in LOY. This has many pictures, which is good- just not what I was looking for. That being said, I have already used it. It is always helpful to study BKS in a pose and take insights onto the mat.

My grandson loved it!!

This is a collection of photos, badly reproduced that are mostly available from other sources. I practice Iyengar yoga and have most of what has his name on it. This however adds little to the collection.

Must have for yog practitioners who wants reference poses to improve upon. Most picture are available on internet however, paper books are easy to refer.

In good condition and arrived on time.

Good Yoga poses. For explanation refer light on yoga by same author.

this is a very technical yoga book something like level 4
