The only way to go when installing new grips!!!
Absolutely great product. The quality of this grip tape is far superior to others. Another huge plus is the way it differs from the spooled grip tape which you wrap and can cause snags when the grip goes on. These wrap around and don't worry about if it's going to hold. The adhesive is super just clean your clubs decent before you install tape. A tip I used wd40 as a adhesive activator and it worked great just takes several days to cure, but I think it's worth it.

Would buy again
Easy to use, grip slid right on and used that club later the same day.

I wasn't sure I would be able re-grip clubs properly ...
I've re-gripped 16 clubs so far at home. These grip strips are key. They work great combined with the HF-100 grip solution. What I do is remove the backing from one side and lightly stick the strips onto the bottom of the cleaned off shaft in an offset fashion, with 1/3 right of shaft and 2/3rds left of shaft, and leaving 1/4 inch beyond the end of the shaft so it can be folded in to cover the top edge of shaft after it's fully wrapped around. I press down the 1/3 side using thumb and index finger to smooth and tamp down bubbles or slight ridges so the 1/3rd side is adhering to the shaft just fine. Then I press down the 2/3rds remaining, smoothing as you go. Since the shaft tapers, the tape can overlap a little over narrow areas and not quite touch in a wider shaft area, it's not a problem. When the 2/3rds is 80% pressed down, peel back the 1/3rd strip backing a bit so you can finish pressing down the 2/3rds over the edge of the 1/3rd and make 'em stick together. Remove the backing completely. A few small ridges can develop because of the shaft taper, just tamp it down and don't worry about it using the non-sticky side of the backing paper. Fold the 1/4 inch at the end over the shaft end. Spray the HF-100 grip solution so the grip tape is wet end-to-end and all around. Spray 6 or 7 times inside the grip itself and slip it over the shaft end over the grip tape and slide it down. Too much spray is much better than too little. With 4 or 5 sprays, my grips became difficult to move down the shaft at about the 1/2 way point ... 2 or 3 more sprays makes a big difference in getting them on more easily. If your grips have a visual aid in the grip for helping square the clubhead, be sure to take this into account. I grab the club, point the clubhead up at 12 o'clock, wrestle the grip on, then rotate the grip so the visual aids are lined up with the squared head. This can take 2 or 3 adjustments until you like the look when grounding the club and seeing how you like the look of it. I do not have a vice on a bench, so I used the rubber vice grip that I originally got with 1st batch of grip strips and spray as a kit ... sometimes it's easier to just grab shaft with bare hand and bear down to slide the grip on. This is one reason I say more spray is better than too little! This is a long post for a simple product ... mainly to convey what you can do as an amateur without special tools. It's easy after you do a few and realize these little things to keep in mind. Lastly, the 'hook' blades recommended to cut off the original grips ... get 'em. I bought a 5-pack for my utility knife and they are perfect for removing old grips quickly, easily, and relatively safely. Having used them, I do NOT recommend using a normal knife or razor knife ... not worth the risk. It's fun to bring a stale set of irons or other clubs back to life with new grips, huge difference!

If they last a month I’ll be happy

Rip it and grip it
Awesome. The grip was better than expected: spilt doubled sided tape was easy to install.

I soon discovered that it was a dumb idea. If you buy this you have to ...
I bought these thinking I would re grip some of my clubs at home. I soon discovered that it was a dumb idea. If you buy this you have to buy the activator, they are not water activated. I found out the hard way and research shower that mineral spirits would work as a substitute. Contrary to the wisdom of the web, it did not work well. You will need a VERY sturdy club vise to handle the force needed to shove the grip over the moist tape. I could not get my grip past half way on and was lucky enough to get it off before the glue dried. The reason I wen DIY is I assumed getting a club re-gripped at the pro shop would be expensive. Since I was only doing my putter, and a treasured 3 hybrid, I did not want to spend a lot of money. After my failed attempt I took my super stroke 2.0 grip and the two clubs to my local golf headquarters conceding my failure and ready to be fleeced for my sins. That is where I learned yet again about assumption. I bought a grip for my 3I hybrid and paid to have the 2.0 mounted on my putter. The bill was less the $15 and it was done in 10 minutes, absolutely perfect. This product seems to be ok if directions are followed. If you really like to spend time working on clubs vs playing your clubs good luck and enjoy. If your buying this to save money, don't do it. The prices for the grips at my golf store where the same as amazon and they charged 3 bucks to mount grips bought elsewhere and 2 bucks to mount ones bought from them. If you buy grips, tape and activator for a whole set, you will spend a hundred dollars, wait for shipping, then spend time wrestling your clubs. If you go to the pro shop, you will spend 100 bucks, shop for golf goodies and 15 minutes later you'll be walking out with pro installed grips.

Too short
Figured they were the same dimensions as others I have used, but these are an inch shorter

These grip strips work well
I hadn't replaced a grip on a golf club for several years so I only kind of remembered what I was doing. Luckily, this pack of golf grip strips had instructions in the package on the back of the front label. The process went very well and these worked very good. The grip slid down the club shaft easily and they seemed to set up in good time. I love my new grips and these grip strips did the trick. I would recommend these.I received this product at discount for my honest testing and review. I am under no obligation to provide a positive review and receive no incentives or rewards for doing so. My aim is to highlight features and drawbacks that I would want to know about as a buyer, not hype the product for the manufacturer. My remarks are sincere and my own. I work very hard trying to write insightful and thoughtful reviews for each item. My hope is that these reviews are helpful to others. While it is true that many items are received at discounted rates or complimentary, my reviews are completely honest and are my personal experiences with the product. Again, it is just my opinion, your own opinion might vary. I received no monetary compensation and not required to give a good review.

solvent wont be enough...wd40 was required to get the grips over the tape...it's very sticky
It will take wd40 or something similar to get the grips on.No amount of acetone, alcohol etc is going to work.On the plus side. It takes less than a hour for the wd40 to dry and you're good to go.

Would probably be better off getting the tape so you can instal grips ...
Exactly what they are described as, but a lot shorter than I expected. About 2 inches too short, was unable to put excess at the end to block the solvent from dripping into the shaft. Strips still not even close to the same length of grips. Would probably be better off getting the tape so you can instal grips properly.

Cut too short
This grip tape is cut about 1 inch too short for golf grips. The grip should overhang the butt of the shaft, but it does not even come close to the butt of the shaft. I had to use two pieces of tape to regrip my putter.
