I can't answer for amazon, that's just the way they are even in other products. If you find it cheaper in other websites buy it there but you might end up paying for shipping if you only get 1 jar. With Amazon prime you don't pay the shipping so it might end up the same in the long run.

I’ve been using this product for about 10 years. It’s been very helpful with my hot flashes, especially when they were worse back then. They’re lessening as I get older. I’m now 61.  I use about a teaspoon size every morning after I shower. Between this cream and menopause supplements i’ve Managed the comfort. I order a jar every couple of months.
