Love all the pictures and there are some good recipes in here. There are probably more internationally oriented recipes than I was expecting but the format is nice with the large pictures and the instructions are good.

Good book to use as a base and to work into your own recipes

These recipes require a lot of ingredients that you don't normally buy. They are not for every day eating. I would like simple meal recipes.

I am pleased with my book as the recipes I have cooked so far have been delicious. We loved the lemon and tarragon chicken. I found the advise regarding the use of the different type of clay pots at the beginning very helpful. The book is very reasonably priced (I bought second hand) and it is excellent for my needs. My only complaint is that the delicious looking recipe on the cover is not featured inside the book! I found this difficult to believe so have looked through it several times but alas no. It could be a fault with my copy but it is not listed in the contents page.
