Saturn ion 2 2006, attempted the 4 to 8 pin on odb port with paper clip, did not work. Took to pro locksmith with programming tool, did not work. This fob does not work for the saturn ion in atleast my year (2006) and probably doesn't work for 2007

Used a matco scanner and wouldn’t do the job, however it was basically a rebadged Launch scanner. Used a snap on scanner and programmed right away

I took the key fob to the dealer and was able to have it programed to my car in little of no time. It works perfectly

This was to work with 2004 Saturn ION and using all the techniques from websites this did not work using all methods.

Good replacement for a Saturn control. Synced in minutes via a local service that you’ll need to find.
